Question - Cleric

Anyone else level a cleric and have around just because you hate the 2.5 hour persistence your merc gives?

While a actual cleric gives you a 5+ hour persistence

Well I raid with a cleric so no, clerics are way better than mercs and not just for the extended buff timers

My groups run with the buffs they can self provide. My melee dps group never has cleric buffs and I don’t even notice.

What ^ said. I use a shaman and I've never considered grouping a cleric or a cleric merc for the buffs. I do group content with no issues.
