Yes, I'm leveling in unrest and can't get cleric to cure group members that aren't apart of the MQ2 controlled group. Not sure if I'm doing it wrong or not.
Grouped with a buddy of mine, I'm running MQ2 with KA. Trying to have the cleric cure all the Diseases. He will cure himself but not others in the group that aren't under KA/MQ2. Just wondering if that is how it should be or if I did something wrong.

Here is the cure section of the INI:
[Cures]
CuresOn=1
CuresSize=5
Cures1=Cure Poison|Poison
Cures2=Cure Blindness|Blind
Cures3=Cure Disease|Disease

You didn't do anything wrong. The Cures routines looks at the peers list if your using dannet and if your not using Dannet it looks in the kissassist_info.ini file for all listed characters. anyone not connected to you through Dannet or not running from your MQ2 instance will not get cures.

Yes you can. @Sic may not know about this, because It is not that well known, but you will have to do a little research. What you are looking for is zerotier zerotier.net I use Dannet with a friend of mine on the other side of the country. I live in Florida and they live in Ohio. We both use ZeroTier to create a local network between us, that allows us to use Dannet.

well the no was a "no, dannet does not have this built in capability" but "yes, if you do advanced external networking setup you can force just about anything".

cool info there.

if this is a super easy setup - ever think about making a guide? i know several folks would really like that information - like really really like it

@Sic I talked to @Redbot about it a while ago, but never followed through with doing the documentation. I think I may revisit putting together some documentation on this, because it is not as difficult as some might think. It only took about 10 minutes to set up Zerotier and get it working with Dannet. The trickiest part was telling Dannet what interface to use. After getting that setup it worked like a charm.

yeah that's great, it looks like the freebie version allows to up to 50 connections - this might actually make setting folks up with their entire raid via dannet viable (obviously i have no idea how stable and accurate it is etc)
