Question - Checking character status like mezzed, stunned, etc.

I found the MQ2Debuffs plugin. Which has made checking whether or not I'm charmed, feared, silenced or invulnerable really easy. However, I'm still struggling to determine if I'm stunned, mezzed, or distracted (such as when the bank/trade window is open).

Are there any clever ways of determining these other statuses that aren't part of MQ2Debuffs?

That covers just about everything that you mentioned but the distracted part. The ones that have the "buff" type can report the spell name, ID, etc, of the first effect that causes the status. How you actually use the Me TLO will depend on whether you are using Lua or macro code, etc.

I'm not sure if there is a smarter method for that than using MQ to check for the presence of certain open windows.

Thanks, Algar!

And yeah, I can use UI elements to determine distracted. Good thinking.
