Any idea why a single toon wants to follow himself and not the designated MA?

All the other toons are happy to follow the designated MA.
The result is the same whether I enable Use Assist List with the MA at the top of the list, or disable Use Assist List and rely on the group designated MA.
I have not changed a single setting on the monk (Otton), and I have used the use the same command from my driver to enable chase for my team.
Command run from driver (tank) -->
Code:
/boxr Manual
/dgge /boxr Chase
I observe the same result whether or not RGMercs is paused (chase or camp while paused is turned on).

I'm making the assumption that the culprit is not boxr as the other 4 (5 including driver) are well behaved.

Please use RGMercs commands with RGMercs.

I don't have anything to do with boxr and couldn't begin to guess.

If you have an issue with our commands let us know.

Try checking your chase target on the movement tab. Sounds to me like it probably received a command when it was targeting itself at some point, and that has been recently eliminated... But again, I don't know what boxr is doing.

to add to algar's point /rgl chaseon takes an argument of who you want to chase - is boxr passing that name?

I assume so since all the other toons accept the command satisfactorily, and the nature of the error indicates that is trying to follow, it is confused as to whom it should follow, the designated MA, or himself.

But .. I will test.

Edit: as expected, the result is the same, it receives the chase command and tries to chase ... himself

additional edit: I see no sign of boxr passing the senders name

Chase target in movement tab is Otton (himself).

I've manually set it to the MA ... but shouldnt this automatically change to the designated MA? This is the behaviour I've observed since using RGMercs. There are instances where I jump on say the mage, set it to the designated MA, run the boxr commands above (which resolve to the correct RGMercs commands) and presto Mage is now the driver with other mobs happily following.

Anyway, having manually set the toon to follow, will I have to manually change the Chase Target whenever I change drivers?

You'll have to develop your own strategy for however you use the command. The details of how the command functions can be found in the command list in-game.
There were some changes to the behavior of the command within the last few days, but they should actually stop situations of people randomly assigning their target as their chase target... Not cause them. Let me know if you have further issues!

Thanks Algar, appreciate the time you a Derple put into this dev and support wise.
Will let you know if it continues to behave in a squirrelly fashion.

I am experiencing the exact same issue now also and I do not use the boxr command , i either use /dga or /bcga //rgl chaseon or off. It's always worked before I updated my RG the other day. Not sure what that problem is as I havent changed anything before updating. Not sure what to do

The replies in this post clearly outline your options:
Check your movement tab and see what is going on, or check your command list, and see how to specify a different person to chase. The command list also has an explanation of how it works.

Hit us up if that doesn't solve it!

No, no, that isn't what I'm saying at all. It seems like someone neither read the instructions for the command nor looked the movement tab to see the issue.
Apologies, was just making a joke.

And yes, my issue was resolved by learning more about RGMercs commands and the interface (due to the information you supplied when you replied).
Thank you.
