This doesn't happen all the time but enough to be concerning....

Running MQ2War,Zerk,Rogue,Shaman,Monk,Eskay... everyone but the warrior is set to assist at 99, camp radius is max and none of the dps engage... the shaman heals.. any ideas what I am doing wrong ? I the warrior set as MA/MT in eq....

what do you mean camp radius is max? you can set that thing to 99999999999999999 - unless you mean the 100 the window we allow.

the tl;dr is if you are in an assist mode - your MA brings the mob into your campradius, and your MA is within melee combat range to their target - you will assist and engage. You also need xtarget available so we know you have mobs to fight.

due to the fact you're saying your entire team is having the issue, i suspect you have a settings/setup issue somewhere.

I would also suggest using switchwithma on - unless you specifically do not want to swap targets when your MA assists

I normally keep my tank at a 45 camp radius, and my dps toons at a 60 campradius.

on your dps toons you can open your map and see if the mob's mq2map dot is within your red circle (camp radius).

if it is a very large creature - like a dracoliche you will need a very large campradius on those and i recommend running the tank is huntertank mode, and the dps in chase mode

Ive used the heck out of Chat and Sic's plugins amlnd KAs in Sic's case.. sounds like assist range is less then camp range (of tank). they do overlap assist, but sometimes, a rogue will sit there looking at butterflys as the group engages.. heals are dif, its been beat to death in cwtn heal class threads.. the guys can give the logic detail..

I'm seeing the same thing. I'm in the bastion of thunder and often, my group will just sit there while the tank attacks. My tank camp radius is set to 25 (ill try on 45), and assisting members are set to 60. I ran this all day in plane of hate the other day without a single issue, so I think Sic is on to something about mob size. I've also seen my tank very slow in attacking them after pulling to camp. I'm running in puller tank mode, with everyone else on assist (4 chars using CWTN plugins, and one on kissassist (brd)).

25 is a pretty small camp size for your tank. if the mob is able to be outside of that 25 radius and punch you in the face you're going to just sit there and take it because its not in your camp.

no doubt... i was messing with it after seeing the team lollygagging. I think i had it set to 45 before, but ill set it back and report back here when I let it run a bit..

Bastion of Thunder is notorious for having an absolutely impossible mesh. So depending on what area of the zone you are in, you might not be able to do stuff because you're off mesh.

But 100% campradius needs to be larger when fighting massive creatures as already mentioned, so in addition to increasing your campradius, I would also do a /nav ui and then show the mesh and make sure that both you and the mobs are on the mesh for any location you choose to set a camp at in that zone.

Various locations through out the zone will not draw mesh on parts like stairs, and at a certain height the mesh itself is being drawn, but it's out of sync with the location of the actual zone. I explained all this in a video I did on how to make your own meshes. I'm sure that's somewhere around here.

hehehe...well to insert a little humor it sounds like that's exactly what he is doing taking lots of punches to the face and not moving...lol

Woot I love Bastion of Thunder...it's acrynomym is BOT...in all seriously that zone is exactly why i made my first mage precisely because of that exact issue. COH 4 life!

It was happening mostly on Zlandicar, I believe setting the camp radius at 9999 seemed to do the trick, I will experiment with huntertank and chase mode to see how that goes, thanks for the advice Sic

you do understand that a 10 thousand campradius is crazy-unrealistically large right?

and hunter tanking for zlandicar is a bit wild too.

Yeah I figured it was but it worked. I am sure less would work.... The hunter tank and chase was really me just saying I have never used them and I would experiment with them not specifically meaning for Zlandicar.
