Question - Catching up on box crew Augs

Hi All,
My team is nearing max lvl, and my tank has T5/T8 augs in every slot, but the other toons are severely lacking in Augs.

Is there a fast way to farm for a solid base of augs for the team? I do Zlandy a lot, but the coins are like 1 aug per 18 kills, so not very efficient…

I will give Morwenna a shot soon for the hdex, but any other suggestions are most welcome.

Cov have mob dropped type 5s, as you mentioned morweena - the cov type 5s also sell to the vendor for currency, which means you can farm other mobs too and sell those augs (at a loss) to buy the ones you want

The alternative is farm currency, like you also mentioned.

If you are in really rough aug shape, you can do all the tbl missions and get augs to supplement your type 5s while you wait on modern zone currency - tbl has more missions and give more currency, so you can type 5 rather quickly.

hSta for those 3 toons --- *maybe* some hWis on the clr if you think you need a larger manapool, but hSta otherwise --- maaaybe someday they'll make hInt worth a shit for casters

if I may slightly hijack this thread, does anyone have any advice on easy/quick slot 7/8 hdex augs? I'm currently leveling up a ranger that I will use as a HS PLer and been killing morwenna for a few days, but that won't help me with slot 7/8

Here are some suggestions in order-ish

if you note the ___ ___ Gem of ___ (Adroitness/Security) you can get a lot of mileage from ToV, CoV, and ToL for adroit and sec, those are 6 gems right there just from bricks
if you have empty slots - search for "gem of" on bazaar and grab the sec/adroit conflag ones - they should be sub-100k or so, and they'll fill an empty slot until you get better

k - i made the suggestion with like 8-9 augs you could get in 1 morning or afternoon, and then a list of things in more or less order of importance so you can balance those things with some priority in your mind.

Augs are neither quick nor easy to farm. You're mainly looking at hunting rare spawn named in the open world and hoping for the rare drop from their loot table. So expect to spend many hours or even multiple days at a camp if you need multiples for different characters. There are a few augs that can be crafted via research that require group ores from missions, but those will only get you so far. Use eqresource and allas to figure out which named drop the aug you want. Id suggest going back a couple expansions and working your way through to current. But expect to dedicate a lot of time to getting through everything needed for a full group. And that's just type 7.

Type 5 is all about the mission grind, hope you can box all 4.
