Problem - Can't log in on one account

I got a little problem and Daybreak is proving useless once again so I'm hoping you guys can help.

I cannot log in to one of my accounts. Every time I attempt to log in, I get an error message saying "There was an error completing your request. Please try again." I've tried repeatedly, even deleting files from the EQ folder forcing an update to the software to no avail. It's only on one account, which was suspended but I don't believe the suspension had anything to do with it. Four other suspended accounts worked just fine.

Adding to the mystery is that I was able to log into this account from another computer. So the problem would appear to be on my end on my PC. But I can't figure out what the problem is. Does anyone have an idea?

I'd restart your computer, go get a glass of water, and try again in 15 minutes.

If you can log that account in on their website then the account is fine.

The error you're getting isn't one that I'm aware of that is the result from any files like you file or setting file etc

I've gotten this error before when a zone crashed or something my char was in and return home fixed it

Done all that. Problem surfaced last night and persists 18 hours and one restart later. I can log into the account on the Daybroke website fine and did so to send the petition.

Just sounds like they need to fix something on the login server side for the game. You'll just have to wait until the Petition gets answered.

When the recent suspension wave went out, the MQ login would spit out odd errors. When I unloaded MQ and ran the patcher the reason was made quite clear. Not sure if suspensions affect web logins though.

Shut your computer down. Turn your keyboard upside down. Slap the piss outta it to get all the crumbs out. Turn the keyboard right side up. Use a soft bristle brush and a very light amount of a cleaning agent and scrub it thoroughly. Ensure keyboard is completely dry before turning computer back on. Oh yeah, change the batteries in the keyboard if it's wireless now!

I'm not being goofy here. An intermittently stuck key can drive you crazy!

It eventually spread to all of my accounts, but I solved it: I changed the passwords. That was all it wanted, but couldn't bother to actually tell me there was a problem with the password.

That is super duper weird.

Did you ever hear back from dbg?

Hmm… Who said to change passwords? You SURE your clean, right? Kind of sounds like a possible fishing trip or worse. And didn't you mention you dumped Bitdefender/your AV after this started?:ohdear::raise:

Changing passwords is a possible solution for his problem but I hesitated to suggest it since it can go really wonky and make things worse. Then you have to get them involved
