Question - Can plugins be used for more than 1 character?

Are these plugins only for your main, or can they be used for your other characters? I have two teams, a SHD and Warrior tank team (melee/caster,) and I am considering getting MQ2Shaman, and MQ2Cleric for my healers, and possibly more. Are they all purchased individually or are there any combo deals?
 
They can be used by anyone, and they are individual purchases. Just like any other paid plugin.
 
if you buy the warrior plugin, any warrior you play on your mq2 install can make use of it, or if its the cleric plugin
, youi could have 52 clerics logged in, all using the plugin.
 
They are well worth the price, but it doesn't hurt to ask. I just got cleric/shaman/beastlord.... I would get MQ2Enchanter too, but its still in Beta it looks like.

Right now, I'm dealing with withdrawals... this is my first EQ maintenance.
 
I have all the CWTN plugins and use them ALL time time. my standard is a couple group makeups, but at times ill run 2 groups at 1 time when i do its usually

Do you find that the plugins are required for Melee? I figured they were just a much smarter and automated KissAssist (no INI management?)
 
EQ maints are the worst. You either donate for early access (pre-release) or wait until the compile is out. Either way. Maint day is gross. :c

required? no. you can accomplish similar using KA.

CWTN Plugins are basicaly load and create a couple hotkeys on your driver toon and go. You dont actually need to know anything about the toon to run it and have it do REALLY well.

A buddy of mine uses KA for his zerks (a guy he knows wrote em for him, he mains a zerk) and CWTN plugins parse out similar to the KA and i didnt have to know anything about zerks to get it.

To me MQ2 is about ease of use. I do write KA InIs for alot of toons but when im in game i just want to play and CWTN plugins make it super easy.

Load into the toon /plugin mq2(classname) load.
go start killing stuff.

I do recommend watching Sics Hotkey vid and creating some of his hotkeys they are simple and make things sooooo easy
 
Think to know running the rog. you really need to get proc poisons for SK and rest of the melee's. and keep them on, the rogs alliance WILL work on them (IE scorpions etc)
 
Ini management isnt recommended for cwtn. they are all toggled ingame. very few cases you need to touch the ini at all.

But yeah, you just need to have them get all their missing spells/tomes that the plugins need.. It does almost everything for you. Except zerker stuns and snares. (and deagros - I run sk so idk if it would deagro?)

zerkers stun and snare using the plugin
 
when just runing zerker 3 zerks to PL new toons, the mobs are stuned alot so yea, 4 or 5 toons in group, 1 bein shm healer, 3 zerks, and PL toon and mob is stunned and snared. only toon it could be is the zerks since the PL toon is stationary

My group is SK/SHM/Bard/Zerk/Zerk/Bst All use CWTN except Bard because sadly there is no Bard Plugin. Should CWTN make a plugin for Bard I will get it. They work very well.

I have notice that on patch Day MQ2 does not work until the next day. They probably have to update stuff after the patch.

Another thing to consider, if you like to set up camp and allow your automation to pull for you then CWTN plugins are amazing. I've tried KA, MA, RGMercs, and CWTN for pulling and CWTN has the best experience I think. In addition to being able to see your pullarc on mq2maps so you can dial in exactly what you intend to pull, I feel that CWTN is a bit ahead of the others in terms of pulling.

Also, I don't have CWTN Rogue but i read that it offers corpse runs which makes me want to get it.

Try them out on test to see if you like them.

Its awesome. and if using MQ2shaman or Cleric the plugin will automatically rez the toon. I dont regularly use rog as i changed the make up of my group. but when id did it was quite awesome.

I'll probably skip the rogue one, as I'll probably replace my rogue with another zerker, but it sound fun!
 
its just MQ2 needs recompiled. once that is going. everything else can update with it. And then its business as normal.

they work quite well from level 1. to upgrade spells/abilities, buy and memorize, plugin dynamically updates as you get the better ones mem'd.

There are some post discussing very limited issues with stacking just due to the changes to spells and stuff of the EQ span, but Sic and Chat fix those if you report them.

they work from lvl 1.

re: any weird "stacking" issues are likely overall mq2issues and not something we can effect directly.
 
I can only afford 2 right now what two would be better compared to using kissassist. Enchanter probably one? I use bst, zerk, rogue, sk, cleric, enchanter.

As far as I know, Enchanter is still in beta testing and included free as part of the VV build. Obviously subject to change..

I use them all and I would say the classes that give you the biggest headache to play are the ones to let the plugin manage.

I'd go with Rog for the ability to drag corpses to camp.

2nd would be cleric for battle rezzes.

KA12 does a pretty good job for mez (enc or bard). Also enc mq2enc is still free.

I got no idea ho well zerker and beasty inis work. So they are excluded from this assessment.

Confused On this one as KA battle rezzes fine.

I need to play with these more but I’d say sk and depending on class make-up - one of the dps (assuming you run 2 zerk, 2 rogue etc..) or maybe shaman since these are very helpful for optimizing

When I started I started with SK and and used KA on my other toons Then When Shaman was available for Beta I used it. So my suggestion is Tank and Healer. But the third one when you can should be Zerk. and I think Enc is still in Beta testing and you can use if for free.

I went ahead and purchased sk, shm., zerk, bst. I'm not doing very good with them though compared to when used kissassist. Still learning. I died more now then before. I watched the three videos sic said to. Maybe just because I'm low lvl and all free accounts right now.

well they do the stuff for their class - they can't do anything you can't do with your characters.

keep in mind shaman as a solo healer is a very hard situation until "modern game". I would strongly encourage you to have a cleric in that team, and some sort of CC/Regen (bard or ench). (tho looking at your other posts it looks like you have an enchanter and a cleric also) - don't forget that mq2enchanter is still in pre-release so there's no cost to use that.

Zerker's are pretty lack-luster early game as they don't get a lot of abilities early on.

Low lvl game can be a struggle bus

Yea I'm very low level and when I get just one add it messes me up. I switched team up little bit I'm running sk, zerk, zerk , bst, cleric, enchanter now. I'm thinking starting second team to get shm leveled up.
 
If even just one add is wiping your group, it sounds like you're in a more difficult zone than you should be. Try stepping back to a lower level zone that you can pull multiple adds without issue. There's a reason, in the old days, we always leveled up on dark blue cons and not yellows or reds.

Sorry i dont think anyone has replyied to this, What the chances are its from the Zerkers Sygenery, 30% chance of crippling blow on Crit, which comes with a Stun at same time on crippling blows

Pretty much With your berserkers in group,, Anyone meleeing have a 30% chance of stunning on crits

there's nothing to chime in on - lots of stuff stuns.

I have bard now that I use mostly and will level enchanter later on when I can powerlevel him up. I keep changing my group up trying find something that will work for me. I drive with my tank 100% now only way to control how many mobs can take at a time. i lik idea of tank just going out pulling but its causing too many problems for me right now. Maybe will be better when I am higher level. I am currently level 10 since started over a few characters.
