This may seem like a lame question, but....

I play all my toons in "first person" camera mode, and with the plugins, every melee character ends up looking up at the sky after melee'ing through a fight. This is somewhat disorienting when I switch from my "main" screen over to their screen, requiring me to hit the "home" button on each screen running a plug in.

Is there a way to turn off the melee "look" (for lack of a better descriptor), while remaining in first person camera?

I'll sometimes run the mq2mule plugin just for the picture in picture add-on (is that available outside of the mq2mule plugin?!), and it's a bit distracting to be looking up the mobs skirts, and/or end up staring at the sky....

Thanks in advance!

might need @ChatWithThisName to answer this one, but i believe it is based on your stickhow - using the uw will make it look up at the mob. the default setting we do is the StickHow=snaproll behind 10 moveback uw

uw is used to handle levitation or underwater situations. If the uw is removed and you're levitating, or you're underwater, expect dumb things to happen.

You can remove it in the INI. It's one of the only times I'll ever suggest editing your INI. Locate your MQ2PluginName_CharacterName.ini file, open it, find the StickHow and remove the "uw" from it.

Thanks for they reply, both of you.

I know you're not an advocate of editing the .ini, so I appreciate what it took to say that!

With that being said, if "uw" is the cause of the camera view, and it'll cause goofy things to happen with levitation/underwater, I'll just deal with it (have been for 6 months!).

Perhaps, out of curiosity, in lieu of removing "uw," is there a way to reset the view after each fight? Maybe an mq2events trigger, along the lines of "you gain party experience" ---> "keypress 'home'"? Since my coding is non-existent, would you have suggestions on how to write that one?
