In Crypt of Sul my group has the zone wide dot or whatever, where there hit points cant go past 70%. I adjusted the Ini accordingly but he does not want to heal the tank (merc tank not effected by dot so at 100% hp) until he is below 70% hp. Once the tank merc is below 70% he gets a heal.

While were looking at my Ini could you inform me on how to control the order of heals? I am wanting highest priority to the higher listed on top. From top to bottom. The reason I am wanting to do this is to cast a "Light" line heal when the other 5 are down (yes this can happon).

Another issue I found was setting the "Heals" setting on "2" would cause the cleric to not heal the tank whatsoever, he would buff him though, again this was a mercenary. I have it set on "1" atm and all is well.

I know the AutoCleric mac and the MQ2Heals plugin have been coded to auto compensate for the debuff, no sure if KA does , but it might.

KA is set to heal according to the %hp you set for it taking the lower set % before the higher but only of those which the %hp threshold has been reached.

What if they are all the same %? If say I put all the MA heals at 99%

Just set your heals the way you would for any other zone. KA will adjust the Heal at level automatically.

Here is the code in KA:

Rich (BB code):
                       | code to fix the Heal PCT for those zones that knock your HPs down to
                       /if (${sectionName.Equal[Heals]} && ${Select[${Zone.ID},795,796]}) {
                          /if (${Int[${${varArray}[${i}].Arg[2,|].Left[1]}]}>0) {
                                /varset UtilInt ${Int[${${varArray}[${i}].Arg[2,|]}]}
                                | Do what you want here. I just keeping it simple
                                /varcalc UtilInt 70*(${UtilInt}/100)
                                /varset ${varArray}[${i}] ${${varArray}[${i}].Replace[|${${varArray}[${i}].Arg[2,|]},|${UtilInt}]}
                            }
                        }
                    }

Not sure, It might cast heal1 to heal15 or it might go gem1 to gem12. It might even go from front to back of the spell book for all i know...

That's not a good idea. The way kiss prioritizes heals is by sorting the heals spells by the Healat tag in ascending order. The order in the ini file is not important. What kiss does first is split your spells into 2 different lists. List 1 will be for single heals and list 2 for group heals. Then the 2 lists will be sorted in ascending order by the healat tag.

So the most critical heals are at the top of the list and checked first then is moves down the list to the less critical heals. Also consider that once a heal has been cast the routine will continue through the list trying to cast the next heal, keep in mind that this checking is going on while global cool down is in effect, so some of the spells my be skipped. But that's shouldn't be an issue since the next heal spells healat tag should be a higher number and not pass the test for needing to be cast.

We are going to adjust the crypt of sul in Kiss 9 by looking for the dot and not the zone because once you have progression done the dot no longer affects you.

Ctaylor22 - The heals work good on the PCs but the Mercs will not receive a heal until below 70% (they start off at 100%) this is a problem when you get multiple mobs or a named.

Ok so I tried again to swap from "HealsOn=1" to "HealsOn=2" in order to "2=Just Group" but the cleric will not heal with this setting, my cleric quickly battle rezzed someone over in the next room with the "HealsOn=1" and that could have been a problem.

Again, sorry to kick the horse more, healing would really be a lot better if there was some kind of priority assignment for spells or gems. My cleric also has a few things he could "weave" in like the dps settings as well. When I mained as a cleric I keybound the spellgem 1-6 (done through the options/keys/spell casting tab) to press using the "1" keyboard key. What this did is heal from the top (from spell gem 1) down, and would always cast the top most gem available, I would end with light in gem 6 since there isn't a cooldown longer then casting cooldown. This is how a cleric would parse high heals. What would be cool is to get him to cast nonstop on the burn command, regardless of health. AA/Clickys available for between casts. All the while watching the health of the group members and reacting like normal. Then stop burn when everything is dead.

Clerics having off the chart heal parses while tanks get rolled are the result of INI's like this.
Keybinding is a great way to be a 1 button cleric... which is boring and soooo often leads to clerics that don't log in anymore.
Where is the Fifteenth Emblem that saves the tank's life when they're under 30%?
Use the manafree, instant Burst of Life and Beacon of Life.
Yes, those renewals are big heals... but their cast/recast time's are silly.
The Intervention line is great for large heals with faster cast times than Light and Renewal lines...
Burst of Life|20|MA|Weave...
Beacon of Life|10|Weave...
Saves the need for Rez and doesn't cost any mana so it's actually more efficient than Rez... Even with a ranger tank!
:)

Also Anticipated Intercession is a great buff, especially when using a tank merc or a non-raid geared tank.

Promised Rehabilitation is pretty awesome with the AA that enhances it... won't raise your heal parse cause the heals count as coming from the tank... but the tanks don't die.
More important for the tanks/group to live than to top the parse, imo.

The tank's heal parse that I go off of only go off of the amount healed.

Also if the cleric is a main and they only push one button the whole raid I hope they don't log on.

I used Fifteenth Emblem when I was main, reading the Ini examples it looks like they took it out so I did as well.

Rich (BB code):
Burst of Life|20|MA|Weave...
Beacon of Life|10|Weave...

Can you do stuff like that? I assumed not but if you could that would be grand.

Ya the |Weave tag will make it pop off during the global cooldown when needed.
I abandoned the Light line cause of the cast time. It's great if your cleric is low geared and runs out of mana, but long cast time heals seem to make me have to rez a lot.
Abandoned the Renewal line 99% of the time in favor of the group heal/cure and group HoT/Cure... so many things that need to be cured this expansion are AE instead of single target.

Ya, I hate it when the tank dies and I snag aggro and hit flash at 40%... then fort... die without a single heal and see a cleric say, " I didn't know who to heal because you didn't call it when you grabbed it. "
Like duh fucktard do you not have an Extended Target Window? LOL.

Try this one... I think I adjusted the MA heals up 5 or 10% to be under 68% after I finished the progression on the warrior.
I keep everything under 80% because of zerkers and their Open Wounds stuff eating my heals.

Thanks man.

Another thing I just noticed in Crypt of Sul is that the pc's are trying to med to full with the zone wide effect on them.

So I happen to be in City of Bronze and my guy is trying to pull a sentry stone once then moves on, eventually when we kill a lot of mobs he tries to pull several sentry stones and it gets to be a waste of time. I remembered from the manual you could put ignore mobs on the ini so I looked it up and the example happens to be sentry stones in City of Bronze.

I literally copied and pasted the following code to the bottom of my ini:
Rich (BB code):
[cityofbronze]
MobsToPull=grendlaen,braxi,selyrah,oashim,bloodclaw,strangleweed
MobsToIgnore=a sentry stone,Leaf Pile,Tyzen,Faltar,A Rabid Selyrah
And he still tries to pull it. What am I doing wrong?

Try deleting the section from the _info.ini file. Save the file and exit. Now run kiss on one of the non puller characters. Go edit the _info.ini file and the section should be at the bottom of the file. Now make your changes and save it and give it a try.

I was in the same zone this weekend and it was working fine for me.

Same for me, I have farmed prolly 20 Daggers Belts, never pull a sentry stone...

I didn't realize there was an info.ini file. I was putting it at the character's ini file. Thank you again ctaylor22.

OH do a search in your kiss ini make sure you don't have 2 [cityofbronze]

I did notice that the info.ini already had many zones listed and cityofbronze was one of them, so I did not make another. Thanks though Razkle
