Only your cleric has the problems? Or is this your only bot?

Make sure you are connected to NetBots and you see the following in his MB_toonname.ini:
[MQ2NetBots]
Stat=1
Send=1
Grab=1

Is he responding to the letsroll?
Does he have another buff that is blocking it (try removing other buffs)?
Are you standing near NPC's that you haven't Excluded? Buffing will not happen near non-excluded NPC's in the AggroRadius.
I would also recommend setting ABCount=1, if you aren't using that second (empty) buff.

I was working with a group of 6 all with no buffs. but then to trouble shoot I cut it down to the cleric and a ranger and finally just the cleric. I have went back to testing with just the cleric and the ranger. Im getting very strange results/behavior. Both cleric and ranger are both connected to ebcs. the Cleric is responding to the letsroll, no characters have any buffs, the closest NPC is 180 away, I set ABCount=1 and removed the extra [AB2] Section. Revised mb_cleric.ini below. Below is what I am doing, after all the below nothing happens the cleric does nothing. Note I am using the test version of MQ and on the test server.

Load Ranger....
/bccmd connect
# Connecting to 127.0.0.1 2112 # Connected! # - Ranger has joined the server. # Requesting names... # - Local Echo: ON # - Names: Ranger

/bccmd reconnect on
# Connecting to 127.0.0.1 2112 # Connected! # - Ranger has joined the server. # Requesting names... # - Local Echo: ON # - Names: Ranger

/netbots
MQ2NetBots :: (on) Grab (on) Send (on)

test_ranger.ini
[MQ2NetBots]
Stat=1
Send=1
Grab=1

Load Cleric ...
/bccmd connect
# Connecting to 127.0.0.1 2112 # Connected! # - Cleric has joined the server. # Requesting names... # - Local Echo: ON # - Names: Cleric Ranger

/bccmd reconnect on

MQ2NetBots :: (on) Grab (on) Send (on)

test_cleric.ini
[MQ2NetBots]

Ranger invites the Cleric ( Cleric automatically accepts )

On the Ranger I do a /bcaa //mac modbot
# CMD: [/mac modbot] <cleric> Cleric //mac modbot [MQ2] [MQ2] ModBot is initializing [MQ2] ModBot v5.13 has started! [MQ2]
(same is seen on the cleics MQ window )

On the Ranger I do a /bc letsroll
<ranger> letsroll <cleric> setting - DoCures, DoBuffs, DoHeals, DoEvents, DoDebufs TRUE

Nothing Happens, no buffs nada..
Now here is the interesting part, On the ranger if I do a /plugin MQ2EQBC unload , the Cleric then will buff the ranger !
One thing i'm unclear of is if the TarType=( included clr ) will does it include themselves if they are a cleric ? or do I need a separate AB section to buff themselves with just TarType=self ?

Its almost like netbots is having a communication problem. /bcaa commands all work great, almost instant. But Buffing and healing are a no go from modbot /bcaa cast "SpellAlias" works instantly. Occasionally after a very long time a buff might happen but its not predicable, and I have yet to see a heal happen.

Ok.. Had some success. Weird. So I have 16 core cpu. EQ runs on 1-6 EQBC was running on all cores. I set the priority to core 16 Now things appear to be working. I had some success by setting EQBC to run at a higher than normal priority but the best solution is to force it to a different core.

- Do you possibly have more than one EQBCS server running? There are a few other threads in the forums about this. How do you start the server?
- Are you running either MQ or the EQBCS server as elevated/admin? If so, they both need to be.
- "self" should be fine.

I have never used Test, although I do not think that should make a difference.

FYI - I Run my EQ sessions on separate cores. But I do not specify the EQBCS core, nor its priority.

I checked for the double EQBCS processes, only one running.
EQBCS was NOT running elevated. It appears that is not the default using the RG installer. I set eqbcs2.exe to run as administrator and it appears to have the same "better" effect.

EQ appears to automatically spread itself across the cores. ( maybe this is a MQ function, not sure. )

Thanks for the help woobs !

eqbc server has a "revamp" in "MacroQuest Next" - so there is only one eqbcs and not 2 and mule and all the other versions floating out there from over the years.

I had the issue with the old eqbcs and i needed to run eqbcs2 to make my issues go away.

I would encourage you to migrate over to "Next" and see if the new eqbcs works for you

I would like to give next a try but so far they are only building for live , not test at the moment as far as I know. FYI the RG installer comes with 3 versions of EQCBS currently. EQBCS.exe, EQBCS2.exe , and EQBCS-eqmule.exe

yup, the installer for mq2 comes with the 3 versions, and unfortunately there are another half dozen versions floating around.

hopefully we'll see next for test soon. having said that, the eqbcs.exe that is shipped with next is just the server, and should work just the same, you might try pulling that out of there and giving that a whirl

Since you can't migrate to Next since you're on Test then I recommend running EQBCS2 for the time being - I had a problem running EQBCS with Modbot, but EQBCS2 works for me fine.

you could still download the new eqbcs.exe and run that - it doesn't care what version you do or don't run since it is stand alone

This is exactly what I am having the best success with. The EQBC.exe that comes with Next. running in on test MQ2
