got my sham to 111 with new unity. was hoping he would buff the group. but buffs himself no problem. since unity is single target. he isnt getting anyone else with it. when i try buffgroup i get the message /buffgroup requires mq2eqbc. which is loaded. im sure its something simple but i cannot figure it out. help me obiwan your my only hope.

well yea sorry thats why im confused. its set up all toons are connected. dont understand why im getting the message

I too struggled with Shm buffing. I have a thread on here somewhere. I really never figured out why.
What I did and how I used buff group, still wasn't 100% success.
while on my toon I was driving with I did
/bct NAMEofSHM //buffgroup
and tried
/bcg //buffgroup this gives more spam in the MQ chat window.

thanks for the help, he will eventually hit the SK with it, just was hoping for a bit quicker response time

Having the same problem. I am able to /bcaa commands. AutoGroup adds all my toons just fine when loading. I can see the commands showing up in the EQBCS server window. Any idea why this is happening?

Let me give it a try... Working with a low level shamy what I do is for any spell that is a group buff (this holds for other classes) is I set:

Buffs1=Groupbuffname|Me

Example 1 would be Buffs1=Pack Spirit|Me <----------this then would cast the Pack Spirit buff on me as well as the rest of the group.

Example 2 Buffs1=Talisman of the Beast|Me <---------this is the first group buff for a shaman. Only have to cast it on myself and it will also buff the group.

I think I might have misunderstood what you were saying. I went back to KA and looked up the command buffgroup. This is so far what I have found.

/buffgroup
[Buffs]

Forces the caster to re-cast group buffs

Their is not much on the command and its usage but I think that it applies to just to caster that uses it. So I take it that used on a shaman it will have only him recast his buffs. You would have to then go to say the healer and do the same for him. In this case the Shaman would recast all of his buffs on the group members as specified buy what each spell is set up for.

So a command to have all casters in the group to recast their buffs I think would be /bcg //buffgroup or /bcga //buffgroup . The first will have everyone except the one giving the command to rebuff. The second would include the one giving the command.

I hope I didn't confused anyone.

Got it working. Check your KA ini to make sure EQBCOn=1 and not 0. Like khardin10 said make sure you have the buff flag set correctly. Probably worth doing a quick look over your buff settings to make sure they are all correct. Loading the default ini from the library had some errors. Going through it and making these changes then reloading KA worked.

You have to remember, those inis in the library are all user submitted and have zero oversight or bug checking. Literally anyone can submit a new ini. Any errors will not get fixed unless that person who submitted the ini comes back and edits the resource.
