Question - Boxing with friends

So several of my friends and are boxing on Rizlona. Most are boxing at-least a six man team. It’s pretty much a hodgepodge of alts that are available or not under dz lockouts. Most seem to be utilizing either kissassist or Muleassist. Definitely a mixture.

What are some things we can do to most utilize our teams and make things flow a little easier. What do you find helpful when you have a large amount of boxes on raids. Do you have everyone targeting an starting your macro on the main assist etc. Feel free to chime in. It’s patch day, we need something to mull over.

Well if you have CWTN Plugins they have a raid option and for the 2 healer plugins you can add other tanks to the extended and select that in the options.

I have taken 2 groups on raid with a friends guild and i set them all to raid and went and set all tanks on the healers extended target and selected heal extended target. ran flawlessly. I played 12, he played 24 and another guy(i didnt know) played 12 and we did Griklor and Servant of the Sleeper. i know the guy playing 24 was using KA on all toons

Well if you have CWTN Plugins they have a raid option and for the 2 healer plugins you can add other tanks to the extended and select that in the options.

Hmmm...thanks for sharing. This has been on the back of my mind for same time as I have at least 6 cleric accounts. I've been considering the CWTN Cleric as the first plug-in i'd like to try, I think you just sold me on it. I've been waiting to pull the trigger on a new gaming laptop or desktop till i can save enough for a decent upgrade, my current laptop once it gets north of 8 instances it turns hot (as in wtf that hurt hot) right now.

MQ2Heals has support for XTarget healing, as does KissAssist.

Really? I've been using KissAssist for my clerics with an Kiss Assist Ini I modified that was posted for clerics here in level 2 area. It does an amazing job for my tank/team. My main thought w/ going with w/ CWTN Cleric's plug-in was the convenience of it. I don't want to tinker as much w/ settings in a raid situation. It was a bit of a pain to perfect current group healer.

XTarHeal	0	0/1	Turns on and off XTarget Healing. Is used in conjunction with XTarHealList, and has 3 options. 0=off (Heal Group Only), 1=on (Heal Group and XTargets), and 2=on (Heal XTargets only). Note: Will Heal Self in all modes.
XTarHealList	null	1-15, all	all=Use all XTarget slots. To only use a specific XTarget slot set equal to the slot number, to use multiple XTarget slots separate slot numbers using | character. It is not recommended to use Xtarget slot 1, KissAssist has some features that expect Xtarget1 to be auto-hater. XTargets on this list will be checked for rezzing. Note: You should have all your XTargets setup before starting KissAssist, and if you add or remove entries to your XTarget window, you will need to restart kissassist.

I use MQ2Heals personally, it's awesome. I can still customize how I want my characters to dps/debuff/buff and never worry about them not healing.

Keep the first XTarget slot as auto hater. Target a toon you want to heal, right click an XTarget Icon and select 'Current Target'. Add as many PCs as you want to the Xtarget window, and put them into the XTarHealList ini space. i.e. if you put 6 characters in XTarget slots 2-7 you would have:

This sounds awesome, learned something else new today. Made my day, got an evening of tradeskilling (to make all the armor from cov ores) and this to look forward to tonight. I was thinking it'd be a lot more complicated than this.

Nice! Haven't done hardware for a PC in ages, is there any huge difference between the intel 10 and intel 9's? I've just begun been browsing the big gaming laptop brands (OriginPC, Alienware, Lenovo Legion, etc...) and noticed the 9's are getting cheaper.

thing about processors is the generation, not the I10, or I9. there are plenty of 10g I5s that run faster than alot of the i10. I also go with dedicated vid cards cause i do alot of dif games. So i needed Power and ram and video. this 700 laptop with 300ish in upgrades out performs alot of 1500 laptops

Nice! So for us noobies, how do I setup all "Xtargets" before starting kiss assist? So this is applicable to buffing too then?

MuleAssist supports XTarget buffing and raid buffing as well as healing. Just need to add the toon to your xtarget window and turn it on in the ini

I personally box 18 on raids, all using Kiss. As mentioned setting clerics (i have 5) with xtar healing is huge. I usually don't use xtar heal on my druid/sham so I always have a dedicated healer for myself. If everyone is using Kiss you guys might also consider only having 1-2 with autorez turned on. Northing worse than a bard randomly getting aggro and dieing on inc and watching all the clerics start to rez and none of them heal. 1 death can quickly turn into many.

Since I am usually the puller I usually have my dps set to assist one of the other tanks when clearing trash, then I set them to assist me for bosses. makes it a little easier to control imo. I have 2 hotkeys to quickly swap em /mac kissassist Assist me and /mac kissassist assist Tankname.

I haven't played with Kiss buffbeg features but others I raid with use other macros that allow it. Can cut down alot of redundant buff classes if everyone in raid can request buffs from 1-2 chanters/shaman/etc.

Hmmm...feeling like when i first turned 45 as a druid and got my key to sebilis for the first time...but with kiss assist raids now...

Here's a brief synopsis:
What I thought: "Awesome! I'm going to own this new dungeon"
Reality: I quickly discovered the joys of begging via "/ooc lfg! and /ooc Can someone please rez me at zi?...

The moral of the story ... i discovered boxing, retired my druid, and made my first war and cleric ... been boxing ever since.
