Question - Best way to "get there"?

I've got a 5 box setup, soon to be 6 and also have a 105 wizard that I could use if makes sense. SK, Cleric, Bard, Mage, Rogue is the makeup.

My question: What's the most effective way to get to a camp spot versus fighting through to it? Made COH if invis is an option makes sense, but am I missing anything? Could the rogue do something above and beyond? A way clicky to teleport the mage maybe?

Thought I would ask since I imagine some of you are in the same boat and have figured this out already.

Thanks

bard has double invis with their Shauri's Sonorous Clouding at rank 3 (110)

really depends where you are trying to get to.

you could always kill the mage, have the rogue SoS drag, then use a merc to rez the mage, then mage CoTH

I guess I'm getting a healer merc for the rogue ... great idea. Thanks.

SK can train and drag dead mage, mage can train and Drape, uh... like Sic said it really depends. If you give me specifics, can help more.

Basically just thinking about camp spots I'd like to get to and setup in areas where mobs see invis without having to clear the whole way to the camp spot.

Dragging a dead mage with a rogue and then rezzing with a merc is something I never thought of before, good idea, might come in handy some day.

I've always made sure my mage has ample XP into level. I kill him all the time, drag to named camps and rez in a safe spot and CoH the group. Been doing that for years. Came in real handy in zones like Chardok getting from named to named in EoK doing hunter.

Rogue x 3 group. SoS to safe spot near camp then setup campfire for the other 3. I am current Pling my 2nd and 3rd Rogues to try that.

Anyway, if you don't want to go that route then I think you can run the mage and rogue to camp or as far as you can then have the Rogue drag the mage if the mage happen to die. Once there drop one member then bring up your healer merc and have he/she rez the mage. Afterward suspend the merc and have the Rogue either run back to the group or use Stealthy Getaway(Rogue AA) if the group happen to be near safe spot(Succor?), re-invite the member that got dropped and CoH the group. If your campfire insignia is off cool down then you don't really have to run the Rogue back. Just CoH the other 4 members then build your campfire and have the member that got dropped use the Insignia to the campfire.

Edit - I forgot that you can have your group leader be near the one that dropped group and re-invite that member after the rogue and mage get to camp spot. No need to run the rogue back.

Teleport to Bind: If it's a tier 1 one, bind the wizard/druid nearby in a 100% safe spot, then use Teleport Group to Bind. If it's T2 dungeon, you can at least bind outside the entry and save some of the run. If your group meets up somewhere besides Lobby (use AA Throne) or Guild Hall (use loyalty teleporter) you can use the Druid/Wiz secondary bind point to send them to pickup the group every time.

Campfire Alts: If you plan to camp it a lot, get 3 disposable alts and put them in your group's fellowship. Have the mage CoH them to safe spot nearby, camp them out. When you need to return, log in alts and drop a campfire.

Heroic Mages: Have free Heroics from the anniv reward? Make some mages and campfire/CoH them to the spot. Camp them out and make a note of who is where, log in for free CoH's as needed. Stock up on pearls.

throw away mages work good, with the free veteran's aa, just pop your vendor if you run outta pearls, can pop a banker and use the shared bank if you run out of plat. they can summon food and drink if needed, and can talk to their pet if they get lonely.

If you don't want your ROG using a healer merc for some reason, or have a full group and don't want to bother with shuffling people around because you're super lazy like me, don't forget the rez clicky at the loyalty vendor. Many times if I'm going to camp an xp spot that I've set up for, I know I'll be there for a while and can camp out 3 alts at a safe spot to build a campfire for the group for later use.

Teleport Bind seems to be bugged lately - often times I've bound near a zone line, ported my group there, and as soon as everyone tries to cross the zone line they all get punted to the evac spot in the zone with a "this zone isn't ready to accept visitors". Run back and they zone normally

I used to backpack a mage on my SK ( Invis + sk ITU - target and hit follow on SK ) --- train the SK to camp spot and FD both. SK shouldn't die as long as you have run speed.

I am not sure if this question is specific to any one location, but you have double-invis available as well with cleric IVU and mage invis. Cast both and just run the mage around to cast Call of the Heroes (group CoH) which is a level 96 spell

Just make one hotkey with two lines telling both toons to hit their AA invises. Or just cast invis on the mage first and then let the cleric cast the IVU - however you wish to approach that part.

There are some zones where I hate running all my toons together (valleys, hills, too many corners, etc), so I just run my mage. And I like to just run one toon to yank the rest of them where possible.
