Question - best plugin or mac for healing druid

i tried a couple inis and didn't like them. made my own ini that heals fine but sucks a ton of mana- i even had to turn it down a notch to save mana because the healing was more than adequate, but other inis i tried it was not even remotely adequate healing. with the new autogrant aas, my druid (not 115) shouldn't be so far behind (though id already maxed or nearly maxed healing adept and gift) and im wondering what the recommendation would be here. should i just stick with her KA ini and try to mount or med a lot, or is there something else i should try that is great healing? Unless I start using something on my bard (and i may for cc) the only slows i use are whatever procs off my belt. Druid is obviously not the top choice for healers, but it is mine. So, idk if there's a plugin i should be using or a better macro for this specific purpose. I have zero interest in doing any dps with it, though burn clicks for the group would of course be good when needed.

I would say RG merc (heals pretty good). Otherwise for a kiss' ini, what lvl is your druid?

112 but should be 113 next time i do a round of overseer. that's the problem with the in-betweeners. 110 is missing higher stuff and 115 has stuff you don't yet, but i'm not in a rush to level my alts the rest of the way, they're all 111-113. all the 110 stuff is aimed at tbl gear and 115 mostly has tov t3 too. Which..i can modify but when it's everything...might as well start from scratch.

Unless RGmercs works for you, loading a 115 ini in MuleAssist and downgrade the spells to your levels should work? Looks pretty easy in the video?

No one mentioned the heals plugin, is there a reason for this? I was thinking that might work like my ka ini does but with more brain power and less Mana usage lol

Yeah I like the makeanoutofgroupcleric.mac and then using the druidsareDPShiddenaspriest plugin.

(95% serious about that buuuttttt....)
If your own INI overheals and burns mana you could just write it to use cheaper DD/healthrough spells and stuns. Druids are in a bad place in terms of mana recovery (in comparison to Shaman Canni and Cleric Yaulp+Cheap spells+Other tools) and require a mage and a beastlord in order to sustain for long periods of time. If you are healing an SK or Paladin, you'll be fine to just spot heal (which is what their kit is designed to do) but in terms of main healing a warrior in a group, that's no fun. Lots of med breaks and a normal 2hander offensive disc + vehement rage + flex with no shirt on 5 pull turns into a "holy s**t I need shield, wurmslayer, best defensives just to maybe live" (maybe not that extreme, but a druid is probably less of a healer than a ranger these days).

oh i already changed the % at which to heal for each spell and each spell has its casttime and heal amount balanced against this- a lower mana cost heal may be too slow or too wimpy to do the job i want at the time, but i havent put in conditionals like differentiating between group and st heals, or limits to how many times to cast promised heals for example. i'm curious how well mq2heals works since all those conditions are already builtin

Druid is tough as everybody has some perfect blend between heals/support/dps they want for their setup. I've used the heals plugin on my cleric and it works fine, but haven't tried it on my druid. You can customize it too, though not as much as a KA ini.

Try taking some pressure off your Druid by adding the slow/cc on your bard, as you mentioned. Bards slow is a lot better than belt, though you need to track how long mobs are lasting. If it's under 12 seconds you could just mow them down without using a cooldown for slow. Try running the bard's regen song with +heals% built in during combat too.

You also may want to post your tank's ini. Maybe we can find some tips to move discs around to lower their spikey damage intake. Adding more AC and clicky saves to your tank can help a lot too.

i don't use a tank ini i manually play half my toons, and tank is one of them. I do probably need to readjust my bardsongs though.

MQ2Heals works great, but I am a little biased. It's highly configurable. You can also use MQ2AFNuke to DPS with your druid, but I wouldn't do that if the druid is your main healer.

You may want to setup a KA ini for your tank, even if its just to manage buffs/discs. Spike dmg and a druid are NOT good bedfellows.

however that said, druids can solo heal 110+. i have used mine to do that in instances and open world. But i main my bard, and KA/CWTNPlugins the rest. so i keep both mana regens going, and the dmg blocker, etc. i also punch the spire when i pull 3+ mobs then aoe mez

I've mained my tank for 15 years, don't want something playing her for me unless it's tradeskills or fishing lol. My problem with Dru healing is usually not using group heals when the others take damage. If I have my epic running or have the right clicks up I take care of it with sk, but can't do that for a dot. The rgr can help though. Have to use rgr to make up for the long recast on RC as it is.

Haven't tried mqheals still, not sure if I wanna try that or rgmercs for her when my ini stops being sufficient. The advantage with mercs would be that I can use her to dps when needed too, but I think I'd rather just set up a group adps burn hotkey and stick with heals.

Dru does have a lot of fast big heals they just have long reuse, and are often group. If I start taking spiky damage that's when I pop a disc or some hittoheal click and keep finger on leechtough.

If you post your KA ini I have a 113 Druid (group gear only & not max AA) that I can try it with and see how it goes with my group setup.

My main (also a Druid) usually runs a KA ini that concentrates on DPS and only uses remote, 2HB Procs & group heal for backup heals as I have a cleric for heals.
