Question - Best gear for group?

I have read some guides but wanted to ask what is best gear available level 110. I don't have access to xpac above RoS. One character is on subscription others are free.
Trying to not waste plat and find out I didn't get the best gear. Currently looking at the snowbound.

ToV T1 gear is the best f2p gear you can use at 110 - it is bazaar tradable so you don't need the xpac (the bricks to craft the visible are tradable as well).

the snowbound is correct (those are the visible pieces)

There's a post about this from a week or so ago, but it's a reply to an aughintong list I made. It also lists ftp augs(nonprestige), but I did not get into detail on no visibles. Just search baz for nonprestige unless you're gold just inexpanded...and sort by how. The highest will be the last avail at 110. The stuff sic listed, t1 drops from tov all tradeable, and ice encrusted are best,for 110, ice encrusted are offlimits for silver accts though

You'll have to find someone to go to cc to buy you the bricks to finish the snowbound though, they're tradeable, cost over 20kpp each.

/baz, set class, set lvl, stat=hp or ac, slot, non-prestige, search. It's what I do, probably daily lol.

Thanks guys. Ok get the ToV 1 gear and then also get the Ice encrusted drops for the gold account along with the Tov 1 visible.

Maybe it's because I'm on FV, but my FTP toons are mostly geared in CoV T1 armor, having upgraded from ToV T1.

Its because you are on FV Server, Free trade allows you to use the no trade item. CoV T1 has to be looted on most servers

That ToV T1 gear, faded snowbound is head and above greater then the highest group gear in TBL. I think you can also get a full set of TBM augs easily enough. The TBM currency is tradable, but not the augs. ToV T1 armor and TBM augs will keep you very functional in all RoS content.

a trick here: You can sell back all TBM purchased gear (including augs) to the vendor. It's a pretty high return until the level 105 stuff, so you can save a lot of remnants by selling the old stuff back as you level. You can also sell the gear back and trade the remnants to someone who needs more gear.
