Hey guys, I was just curious if the MQ2 Devs are usually taking 2-4 days to get a source up? No longer appear to have level 3 access, so dunno if this has already been asked in there, bu twent there today and yesterday to look for a source to get a basic compile up here for folks, but no source there yet. I been out for about 2 years, but I know it used to be only a few hours from a patch before they had the source back up.

Sony threw some radical changes into EQ this fall. Plus lately they have been tossing in some horrendous patches. Add to the fact the MQ2 devs have jobs families etc. It has taken a few days on some of the updates.

Well booo on EQ for making it more work to cheat their game =). I know they added lotsa handups for mis-keyed items that fall into normal chat, had a test account banned for it, took less then 2 hours from the incident to banning lol although a lil pissed, I was also impressed hehe.

Yeah user, I had that happen once. When I was testing the bazaar tribute finder macro I fixed, I echoed some ${} goodies. Was terrified I was gonna get the hammer from it. Maybe we need a plugin to prevent chatting to local channels at all, toggle it on and off =P

yeah, mine accidentally dumped into /say, was about lvl 10, and headin straight into PLing, toon was lvl 70 + with 500 + AAs when banned just a few hours later, but in my mind it's not a big loss.

That is exactly why KissAssist was designed never to communicate in game for any reason.

Yeah, mine happened when testing a variable with /echo when I was tired and just pasted an improperly typed variable into chat.

what if we log into eq and accidentally type /mac kissassist when mq isn't loaded? I probably shouldn't even ask because i've done it on more than one occasion because i had not loaded it yet.. but could that possibly get me into trouble if it keeps happening?

You will get a message "command not recognized" thats all. It doesn't echo in say and its not something the EQ servers respond to so you are fine.
