holyshit1=/if (((!${Me.Buff[Avatar].ID} && ${Spell[Avatar].Stacks}) || ${Me.Buff[Avatar].Duration.Ticks}<16) && !${InvSlot[mainhand].Item.Name.Equal[Ancient Prismatic Brawl Stick]}) /multiline ; /exchange "Ancient Prismatic Brawl Stick" mainhand ; /keypress - ; /echo HS1

holyshit2=/if (${InvSlot[mainhand].Item.Name.Equal[Ancient Prismatic Brawl Stick]} && (${Me.Buff[Avatar].ID} && ${Me.Buff[Avatar].Duration.Ticks}>15)) /multiline ; /unequip offhand ; /exchange "Petrified Heartwood Flamberge" mainhand ; /keypress - ; /echo HS2

downshit1=/if (((!${Me.Buff[Avatar].ID} && ${Spell[Avatar].Stacks}) || ${Me.Buff[Avatar].Duration.Ticks}<16) && !${InvSlot[mainhand].Item.Name.Equal[Ancient Prismatic Brawl Stick]}) /multiline ; /exchange "Ancient Prismatic Brawl Stick" mainhand ; /keypress - ; /echo DS1

I saw a few people looking for this so I thought I'd share out somewhere more relevant on RG. What's different about this one is that it swaps in the avatar weapon at 1:30 instead of waiting until avatar completely wears off.

Edit: the keypress - is my social that does /pause 7 then /autoinventory however I found out about the /timed command, will try it out

You know someone could probably adapt these to swap out weapons (say on a warrior) to the different "debuf" types (if you have them) as I used to have on my war (back when I played only 1 account) a weapon that would slow, and a weapon that would snare.

You could also adapt this "swap" to maybe even swap in your "gate hammer" (for you TLP solo-ers out there).

ideas, ideas, ideas.

I don't have an avatar weapon but to clean this up a little bit and use the bandolier plugin that's already included I don't see why it couldn't be used off the same idea as my bard swapping down/holy. using it like this in theory would only involve you putting your proc weapon and secondary weapon in slots and type /createset avatar 13 14, and then your normal set of weapons in place and type /createset fight 13 14

Just seems like it would make it more universally available for folks with the different weapons and such, I could be way off base as I'm still learning as I go, let me know if I'm stupid pls lol

holyshit1=/if (((!${Me.Buff[Avatar].ID} && ${Spell[Avatar].Stacks}) || ${Me.Buff[Avatar].Duration.Ticks}<16) /equipset avatar

holyshit2=/if ({Me.Buff[Avatar].Duration.Ticks}>15) /equipset fight

downshit1=/if (((!${Me.Buff[Avatar].ID} && ${Spell[Avatar].Stacks}) || ${Me.Buff[Avatar].Duration.Ticks}<16) /equipset avatar

Looking for some help here. I've got a 2h weapon that I dps with, and two different avatar 1h items that I'd like to use for avatar procs. Any ideas on how to best set that up?

the same setup works with dual wield swapping to 2hs, i wrote one to swap my shadow knight from 2hs to 1hb and shield depending on if his target was named or not. so i can assure you it will swap perfectly using this bandolier setup.

NOW here's the corrected version of the avatar swap setup. I finally have a weapon to play with it, so i took the original script that was posted and worked the kinks out. here it is exactly as is working for my bard

holyshit0=/if ((!${Me.Buff[Avatar].ID} && ${Spell[Avatar].Stacks}) || ${Me.Buff[Avatar].Duration.Ticks}<16) /equipset avatar
holyshit1=/if (${Me.Buff[Avatar].Duration.Ticks}>15) /equipset fight

Can this be used somehow for swapping bard weapons? I have not looked into how to make swapping weapons as easy as possible for a bard and I have just been clicking with my mouse the weapon swaps. I play on agnarr.

Are you looking to swap weapons around after procs? Or are you just looking to swap instruments as needed? If it's for weapon procs, the code posted above can be altered as needed. Just change the name of the spell Avatar to a different buff. If it's instrument handling, MQ2BardSwap does this nicely. See this redguides post for how to set up the .ini file correctly:

https://www.redguides.com/community/threads/24740-MQ2BardSwap

The use of the Bandoleer in-game is best used when you can't use MQ2 though (which you can't on Agnarr), so set up a Bandoleer set individually for your main weapons, your different instrument types, and then swap between bandoleer sets. I haven't used the Bandoleer function in-game in so long, but if you can make individual hotkeys to swap between sets, just put those buttons on your hotkey bar and swap as needed that way.

Thankyou! I am sure this is what I should be doing. Going to figure this out now. I have been moving my instruments via manual mouse click.
