I can't find a single post on their boards explaining what this patch is supposed to fix. One could assume it's the recent graphics issues, but one shouldn't assume anything about DBG.

nope

and considering they patched twice already, if > i < were doing the update, i'd wait until it seemed stable before doing all that work

but assuming you didn't run the eq launcher for some reason - you can play eq/mq just fine without updating

Well good thing i've been busy with work and been playing hacked console games during downtime.

mq is updated and all that - run your rg launcher/redfetch and patch eq (without any mq/rg stuff running) and enjoy
