Question - armor and gear (1 Viewer)

If I have a character that doesnt have the TOB expansion but will be level 20 soon.....can they wear TOB gear? even though they cannot zone in could I have a toon buy them the components? I am wondering and wont be able to test it for another day or so?

you can use gear that is tradable from xpacs you don't have yes.

You can wear gear from xpacs you do not own. As long as you meet prestige requirements and level requirements everything can be equipped.

Edit. I think I read that as level 20 and op meant 120

They made most of ToB no trade. If you don't the expansion then you can't zone in to loot it. So there's that. You can get the LS 120 T1 tradeable/bazaarable gear by searching "Gallant" in the bazaar. LS gear is a pretty big improvement on even the expansion before it. Ok, I'm meaning weapons when I typed that. But the bazaar will be your friend.

They changed nothing. The tiered dropped armor has the same rules it has had for the last 8? years (weps and armor and non vis)... this is a off level xpac, so wont be any of the half step types (IE no required 120, rec 125)...
