omg its amazing i forgot this game existed! I played so many variations of this in my youth!

This was my moms favorite game on the Nintendo. I actually found a console, the controller and the arkanoid game and gave it to her. Was like watching her become a kid again. Was pretty fun.

Before Nintendo renamed it this was known as Breakout to us old timers. Atari 1976

I never played it on the NES.. I played Arkanoid on my old Amiga 500 back in 1987.. I want to say that was before Nintendo.. but I could be wrong..

my parents wouldn't buy my brothers and I a Coleco vision haha.. so we got stuck with the ultimate gaming computer back then! and I never looked back since !

Arkanoid is the breakout game that was better than Breakout. It was in most arcades in the 80s.

Though this might be closer to Breakout…until you add special blocks and power ups.
