Question - Anyway to specify who loots certain no drops?

is there anyway to setup looting for a specific zone? Say I know the zone wide rares that drop can I set it up that only certain toons would attempt to loot that item? I really hate seeing loot on a melee toon that would be a major upgrade for a caster.

I know you could set it in Advloot, but can Ninjalooter or Autoloot be set to loot before my group actually sees the item so if I?m not paying attention it won?t be wasted on a toon that can?t use it.

I think autoloot defaults to what advloot is set to so if you change the advloot setting when the ML goes to assign it it would recognize that someone has selected need in advloot window and assign it to them. Would need to try on a regular item to confirm.

You would have to manually put in an entry in your loot.ini file if you wanted to do that with MQ2AutoLoot/Ninjadvloot.

Yes, I don't mind manually inputting it, but I don't see in the loot.ini how that can be assigned to each toon individually. Is there a way to make an individual loot.ini that you can specify what each one should loot?

In MQ2AutoLoot you can't set individual characters, but you can set classes to loot an item. An example would be:

Tinfoil Hat=Gear|Classes|WAR|CLR|PAL|SHD|BRD|NumberToLoot|1|

Basically all your plate classes would loot that item etc.

Hmmm I think I can make that work. That just goes in the MQ2Autoloot ini? Any specific section?

It would go in your loot.ini, which is in your macro folder.
