Question - Any way to select a chat window/tab?

Not a big issue if it's impossible (I have yet to find a way to do it) but was wondering if there is any way to select a specific chat window either with commands or via Lua.

It's about a minor QOL thing. I have a separate chat window on all of my toons for raid emotes, etc. ("event messages"). It makes them easier to see. However, after the raid, I like to /clear them so that each raid starts with a clean slate. It would be nice to be able to do this on all toons with one command if possible (the alternative is tabbing over and clearing the tab on each toon).

I could write a Lua or set up a macro but I can't see any way to do this in EQ. Anyone know of one?

I am taking a guess that you could likely use /notify.

As far as i am aware we have no method of targetting a chat window with mq, since all the windows are chatwindow, so i believe technically its not possible.

But, would a /reloadui not clear the chatwindows?

that you could easily send via dannet/eqbc

/reloadui is the nuclear option - not sure I want that ... but maybe!

Yeah if kaen is right that won't work unfortunately, guess you'll have to play with it :/
