So I'm really enjoying Rizlona and currently doing newbie gear quests (quite satisfying). After that, I'm not sure what's worth doing. The last time I non-twinked those levels it was EQ classic basically. As much as anything looking for gear for my SK. I have casters other than that, but also a mage, who can cast the temp focus gear to keep me going til later levels...

Pick up a few of the expensive Velious items (some crafted rings/earrings) fungus tunic (will be very useful for a whike) and you should be good to go. I just did the same the rest of the group I mostly just gave the monks decent weapon + haste and until I started charming (about 40) ench was mostly naked or a few pieces.

The newbie quest armor can take you to 46 in the old world, easily. Keep an eye out for Darkscale armor if you're a large race. It can last you quite a while. After that it's Ornate armor molds or elemental smithed plate.
If you're miserly, or taking your time, you can wait for LDoN to drop here at the end of the month and build near-EP levels of gear.

The selling a single Krono suggestion will 100% get you gear to get you to 65 easily. Everything except the top tradables are dirt cheap on Rizlona.
If you wanted to do it on the cheap or self found basically 100p will get you enough blacksmithing skill to get you a set of banded on a tank which will last you until just from leveling youll have several thousand plat and can buy upgrades from the Bazaar.
