Just getting around to my TBM progression... I was able to box grummus last night with a little strategy tweaking and was planning on diving into Anashti Sul, Lady of Life next. Seems a bit tricky to box. Are folks able to box this? Anyone have any pointers?

Care to share the Grummus strategy? I have a rock steady group and do a lot of strange things at times, but this event beats me.

Same. I went with a REAL group and we couldn't take him. I know a friend who legit 3 boxes said you need to drop him in the first 30 seconds or you're screwed. Not quite sure what she did though... Anashti event has a silly video on youtube that MIGHT offer some help, but I think it will be hard to box. She locks up and you have to kill the coffins that spawn or they pop adds that you can't mez. Not only that, but you have to run in and out of the aura to cure the mean dot.

For grummus I had my whole group on chase to start. Then I popped fortitude on my war and pulled quizzen ( sorry I'll spell these names wrong...). He ae fears so you have to mow him down first. Then kill meedo. Then the other two of grummus friends. When you see grummus throwing barrels run. With chase on your group should follow; however, to speed up their reaction make a hot key that has the group target you and stick. Once the adds are dead the click order of the drops matters. Click the pendant first, then the dawn item then the night item then the last one. These clickers will take down grummus shield. Then run in and now grummus down. I switch over to my cleric and power heal through the remaining barrels.

For Grummus:

I like to kill Meedo first because his DD always seems to smoke my cleric. Next is Qezzin because of the fear. After that the last 2 are cake. I burn all CD's to kill the adds as fast as possible. I use a hotkey with /bcg //target MT name then /pause 2 then //bcg //stick. You can heal through the barrels but with that hot key i find it pretty easy to move out. My group makeup is war, cleric, wiz, bard, mage, merc healer. I have tried different clicking combinations and they all seem to work fine.

For Anashti - Life:

This is a really simple mission. Make sure all of your toons are decently geared. If people die adds spawn. The rotating skull can be ignored. When it goes off on my group i just use bard psalm to get mana back. Use the stick hot key as described above. Stay in the golden aura the entire fight, when it moves your whole group moves. If you can burn a coffin down before the add spawns that makes things faster but it is not necessary. If you get an add kill it before you go back on the boss (boss can not be killed with an add up, you can get close but even my wiz on full burn could not finish 2% on the boss until we killed the last add). My war in TBM group gear has no problem tanking boss and add. Adds from the coffins are yellow. If you get red adds that means you are not staying in the golden aura.

Anyone here have any good strats for the Anatashi Sul decay mission? That's currently the one I am banging my head on the wall for

Lurk,

There was a good post on RG a couple months ago with some commands to help automate the curing aspect.

I'm more looking for a synopsis of what the event entails. I checked allakhazam, eq forums and the closest i have found to anything about the event is here:

https://naroggsplace.wordpress.com/eq-anashti-sul-damsel-of-decay/

The EQ forum post I read though said the little strategy he did give was incorrect (IE you want to cure the melee debuff 100% and a few other things)

If I can find something that just gives me a 100% overview of the entire event I can most likely strategize it myself. I just need something that tells me what each phase is what she does etc etc because I am to lazy to go wipe in there for a few hours and figure it out myself =P

I have been in there wiping trying to figure Decay out my self. The main thing is to make sure you have all disease spells prcos anything turned off. It took me a while to do that and i ran out of time. You will get a red message and she will heal if you have any on. Once you get that figured out i think it is tank and spank long fight. I am going to give it another go next time i get a chance. I had no problem surviving 15 minutes just couldn't stop the healing. Set up on the top floor pull and when she warps below let her summon tank and just heal him through the floor. I ran wizard down for extra dps.

The other mechanic is stacking the adds together. Every time one spawned i just picked it up. Might have to move around a little get them to touch but as soon as a slime touches a borokon or how ever that is spelled they both despawn.

I will report back once i kill.

That's good info, dude!

Man some of the adds in the decay event hit like freight trains... ~170k buffed hp and 13k+ac and my tank gets taken down in a round.

The damsel of decay mission has a circular dot towards the end of the mission that you have to manage on each character.
Withering Physicality XIII - must be cured on every character or you will get one shot very easily.
Withering Faith XIII - must be cured off all priests/healers
Withering Limbs XIII - must be cured on off all DPS both caster/melee
Cure gift of death dot through out the event with a cure corruption spell
Do not cast any corruption/disease spells on the named as it will heal her.
stack goo's and bokon's on each other to get them to despawn.
I recommend not using group cures, as this will circulate the dots on all the characters. You will always have 1 of the 3 Withering dots on you when the event gets to that point. This should be around 30'ish %. That's the time to burn her down.

I used the two potions below to handle the major cures on my characters automatically. This is an example of curing a DPS/Tank. The two potions share different cool down times.
Rich (BB code):
holyshit0=/if (${Melee.Combat} && ${Me.Buff[Withering Physicality XIII].ID}) /casting "Elixir of Ethercleansing" item
holyshit1=/if (${Melee.Combat} && ${Me.Buff[Withering Limbs XIII].ID}) /casting "Distillate of Immunization XVII" item

For priest classes you would want to cure Withering Physicality XIII & Withering Faith XIII. IE: priests always want Withering limbs dot on them.

Hope that helps. Other than that it's just a lot of pain of getting to her when she warps between the platforms

Newb question .. but will the cleric radiant cure or group purify soul be enough to cure these off?

don't use radiant cure or other grp cures during the event while withering debuffs are rolling. You will wipe your grp.

So I have the following for my chars but it doesn't seem to fire for the casters. My melee classes do it fine. Does mq2melee onlywork if melee combat is turned on or am I doing something wrong?
Rich (BB code):
holyshit1=/if (${Me.Buff[Withering Limbs XIII].ID}) /casting "Distillate of Immunization VI" item
holyshit2=/if (${Me.Buff[Withering Physicality XIII].ID}) /casting "Elixir of Ethercleansing" item

caster needs to use downflags not holyflags. It's mqmelee. so more than likely, your caster toons are not melee'ing. using a downflag will make it cast when not attacking.
