Problem - Alt Tabbing switching between EQ sessions (1 Viewer)

All of a sudden out of no where, I can no longer switch between EQ sessions,m I use the autologin and now my computers like locks in on one EQ session and I cant swap to others - I have to click on chrome and then select the opther session.

So switcher plugin doesnt work, it tries to switch but then goes back to the session I am on.

Anyone have any ideas? I havent changed anything
 
On the emu client, I have the issue current of a foreground command causing my window to unmaximize and return to the windowed resolution.

Edit: sounds like my issue may be separate.

I saw this when first posted to the Switcher discussion thread. Now that the servers are back up I and I have updated VV I can confirm that the /foreground command does seem to work a bit differently now. As @Algar noted, there seems to be a resizing of the window happening when the /foreground command is sent to a background client. This is independent of Switcher (it just uses the command /dex toon /foreground to do the switching). On my setup this does not cause any other issues - no clicking an external application required. But I am running two monitors with EQ instances exclusively on one of them.

For now, I recommend MQ auto login hotkeys for switching. For whatever reason that does not seem to show the same issue, and swaps instantly with no visual anomalies.

I'm having this issue as well. Whatever the latest account I logged in is has control and I can't alt+tab to the other windows. If I open them manually, as soon as I click on it, it brings back up the main one that allows focus. Very weird issue. It wasn't happening earlier today either, just started tonight. I was boxing all afternoon just fine.
 
Having the same issue but it's doing it even without alt tabbing and just clicking the taskbar EQ instances.

THEN to make things worse, even with alt tabbing or just clicking the instances, when I finally do get into the eq instance i want, it acts like CTRL & / or ALT is being held down, and I'm typing and all my hotbars/windows are disappearing because they are quick open/closing because somthing in MQ is holding down CTRL. Wasnt doing it earlier but is doing it now as-well.

I don't think this is being caused by MQ. I am getting the same behavior with out it running where one instance of EQ won't let another instance of EQ take control. I did find that if I clicked / alt-tabbed to a non EQ window I could then control the other instance.

I'm not using MQ and I'm having the same problem with logging onto multiple toons to just trade items. Sometimes I have to click 6 times or more to get the other characters window to open up.
 
Hey all, sorry for the late response. Yeah, turning off discord overlay fixed this issue. Sorry to put shade on RG lol =P. Thanks everyone for the help!
 
Since the Tuesday patch, I have noticed that when I switch from the active window to a different character, I randomly seem to get bounces back to the window that was active. So, if I am running 6 accounts, and say my current character is Wulfy and I switch to Ducky, I get bounced back to Wulfy's screen multiple times before it lets me actually switch to Ducky. There doesn't seem to be any consistency with how many times this happens, and it doesn't matter if I manage to switch to Ducky, it will happen again (bouncing me back to Ducky) when I try to switch to a different character. It doesn't matter if I alt-tab or use the mouse to select an account window, it happens with every known way of switching active windows.

Anyone else experiencing this? My first thought was DBG installed some kind of code just to annoy those of us who run multiple accounts, but that would be stupid, because I think we're the only ones still playing this game lol
