...morlock, that is slowwww for completeing one task, i have about same system, and am completeing in about 1.5 mins at most, usually more like around 1 minute using /warp macro. average wait time between tasks till another one is available is anywheres from 30 secs to 2 mins
 
4% into 69 to 10% into 70 = about 10 hours, time ot lay low to see if the ppl hanging around the druid circle are gms that will go away when they notice i'm not afking again for the 5 week in a row..
 
amazing, after i stop the task, i just sit at the task master fooling around with inventory ansd stuff, and lo and behold, someone pops up running afk taskmaster, then denies it...lol...i watched on map as he zoned out after saying task msg a few times then zoned in at druid ring, and warped to spires, zoned out, zoned into near druid rings, warped to mara (was a lvl 65 rogue shroud)...lol..thanks to you, i'm remaking the macro to be done in gunthak, will be a lil less xp for aa's, but hopefully noone will alert gms enough to have them post ppl, at least i assume they are gm's watching seeingf as they are in hard-to-reach places for last few days....
 
Running an AFK macro in an open zone is rather risky. I have ran these task several time, but never AFK. I just use hotkeys. Also I never warped when others are in the zone. I have a hotkey to do a /who all gm /who gm just to monitor where they are (if they are visible), and noticed they been showing up in DL, FV, BB, Nek, and, LS a lot.

I have stopped doing these tasks for awhile now, and would caution anyone using them. I wouldn't be surpised in the up coming batch another round of bans just for this abuse /shrug
 
Is there someway to run a set of points backward? Like if I'm a non-gating class and want to return to Marana from the Druid Ring and then go to FV, is there a way to make the path go in reverse without having to make a whole new path file?
 
Not that I know of. The next update I will be posting will include a non-gating version ...

yes .. i will look it up when i get home if some one else hasn't..

there is a path command in that long string of crap that say play this backwards after i get to where i am going and do what i got to do ..

i know its on the mq2 site .. but i can't get to it from work .. /cries
 
If anyone has locs, warps, etc. for lower level missions, please PM them to me.

I've gotten a few missions set up for the gating version for level 15 minimum missions.

Maybe after I get these all locs/missions set up for level 15 up to 70 in the gating version, we can incorporate them into a macro that doesn't use gate and have a complete AFK macro from 15 to 70 without using warp.
 
I've presented this idea to several people so far, but if any of you know parts of this code and could send it to me, I'll credit you in the completed file:

I'm making a macro to:

1.) Check your level
2.) Decide, based upon your level, which taskmaster to go to.
3.) Take you to that taskmaster.
4.) Pick a mission.
5.) Carry out that mission.
6.) Once finished and you get experience, go back to step 1.

This will end up being a huge file to include all the missions from lvl 15 to 70. The version I'm working on now will be the gating version. After I get that version completed and test it out, I'll look at making the macro for advpath. I don't think I will release the gating version to the public because that would draw too much attention and get people banned. I'm merely going to use it for testing purposes until the non-gating version can be released.

Again, any help would be appreciated. PM me.
 
what lvl do I need to be to use this macro? My toons are only 48 and 51. Is that high enough?
 
Ok, this is getting too popular and too well known. I'm with ddd000 on this one, it's asking to be banned using this much more. I've had my fun with it and it's time to move on :(. I tried the advpath version but got pwned in KC, even at 67.
 
Buy 100k horse, and use the advpath version of it , even toss in something to keep you invis, should only take a few hits tops, moving high speed and at least starting invis
 
Decided after talking to a few people that I won't be posting any of my macros for this here.

People are taking stuff made here and posting it on other boards, for whatever reason.

I won't be part to that..and something like an advpath macro for afk levelling from 15-70 would spread so fast because people here can't keep stuff here.

Blame the people copy/pasting our info.

Correct me if I'm wrong Mochila, but you can't use horsies in 'inside' zones like KC can you?
 
Normally no, but KC is an outdoor zone, just like BoT and some others, if you go outside the castle, you are outdoors, hence it is an outside zone. BoT if you go up to the CY you are outdoors....
 
i'd like to know what boards have the macros i mod'ed and orig creator made....i'm pissed that i've asked a few ppl what their RG names are so i can pm them (they were using my version of afk taskmaster) and they said "what is redguides?
 
Probably Kenetixeq boards. People are leeching stuff from here just to get points there. I'm sure that's not the only place.

The whole reason none of my macros will be released to the public.

Ok, I stand corrected then. Only problem is I havent 100K for da mount, lol.
 
After alil more than a week straight or so of using, I have 120k banked......Money also becomes no big deal
 
That is also one reason why I only included a couple of tasks. I do not believe in doing all the work for everyone, just getting everyone educated in being creative to make their own stuff.

The first version of this macro was /warp and /zone only, then as a redguides communty decided that would attract to much attention and then I redev'd th macro, removing the warping.

Now it is pure macro and more difficult to spot that you are macro'ing since the advpath is the most realistic traveling include I have found.
 
I've noticed...lower level tasks, I've set up for the level 15 ones, after you do a few of em, they stop showing up on the list. I had my guy sitting there for over an hour asking for a mission and the four out of like 10 never showed up. Waited overnight and this morning, they're still not showing up.

Any clues?
 
I seriously expect busts, nerfs and probably both with this very soon. I'm keeping a wide berth now.
 
Yea, this has to lead to fewer players, at least the warp version of it. 4 days ago, I started thinking of using AFK Taskmaster, so I went to the task master and at LEAST 10 people were doing this warp/AFK for an hour as I watched. Thursday about 5 more had joined them. Friday 4 more and today none. I suspect if people were not so gready, and had not done this nonstop constantly afk it would not be as much of an issue. The first 10 were still there on Friday at least 72 hours of doing tasks. Exact same warp spots, exact same phrases.
I hope none of these people are shocked when they can not log on.
 
Curious question. Is this macro set up to log your toon out if gm's enter zone?

Ive never done this macro out of fear of being banned, but im curious
 
There is a GM check, but all it does is pause the macro, and only if the GM is the nearest spawn to you.

I like pausing the macro instead of camping. I imagine that camping would look more suspicious than not doing anything. I'm not sure I like the fact that it's only if the GM is the nearest spawn though.
 
no cade, its setup to pause the macro for 5 mins if a gm enters the zone, not if they are nearest spawn to you. but camping out if a gm entered would be extremely easy to do as well. i am NOT using this macro anymore seeing as i've reached my goals with it and don't wanna get banned. only a few ppl use this on my server, and they are all friends of mine that i gave the macro to. i also have versions of this macro that i am running elswheres, but i'm not going to post these macros as i don't want a massive influx of ppl to gunthak and OT...so when you pm me, know that i do have those macros, and no you can't use them...i don't want them spreading around, plus i had someone send me a cross-server tell today asking about other macros, they weren't even from RG and had gotten the macro from their guild's board, and somehow my name was also passed along, my in-game name. oh well, sorry to semi-rant if that what you want to call it

Ugh, annoying, suspended while I was afk. But see, it wasnt because GM's started cracking down, it was some fagget on a "crusade against hackers". He reported everyone doing taskmaster junk etc, Level 70 on my server. Lameness....I couldn't stop in time because I was afk, but friends got similiar tells from him about being petitioned and quit in time...
 
that sucks mochila, hope its jsut a suspension adn not a suspension while they review evidence for ban :(
 
yah this macro started out being /warp /zone and then migrated to a "realistic" macro to decrease the attention. I guess with the nerfs on MM's the OoW Taskmasters are getting more attention.
 
Yep Taskmasters in DL are OoW, my druid doesn't have DoN yet.
 
Anyone tried this in monster form? Wondering if the xp goes to progression or not?
 
no it doesn't go to progression, and monster form is the only way to do it 67+, so thats what i used last week that i was using macro
