Couple of questions here -

When using /afollow I find that often there is just one or two characters that don't follow very well at all. It's the same ones all the time and they are the ones I am constantly re-summoning or manually backing up around corners. Is there some sort of scatter setting that means they don't follow the same path that I'm missing?

Secondly, I use a hotkey to get characters to follow me. I picked it up off here but essentially it's just

/bca //target id ${Me.ID}
/bca //afollow

The problem is that the mages are often summoning items to pets and the what have you. Would I bet better off making a hotkey like:

/mqp
/bca //target id ${Me.ID}
/bca //afollow
/mqp

I personally use [/mqp] before a long follow distance and then do a [/bcg //stick 20 loose].
For shorter follow distance, such as Dungeon Crawls, I try to just let the follow feature within my Kiss ini's control it.

Key To Follow:
Rich (BB code):
/bcg //mqp
/bcg //target id ${Me.ID}
/bcg //stick 20 loose

Key to Stop Follow:
Rich (BB code):
/bcg //stick off
/bcg //camphere
/bcg //mqp

I have these setup in my G510 KB for ease of use no matter which toon I'm on.

maybe have the 2 characters that are falling back target someone else and /afollow them? Maybe its the fact that there is a bunch of them lumped together and they are pushing each other out of the actual line to follow. Ive noticed this on a few as well and I am almost positive its because other characters are in that specific spot and moves another out of the follow line.

test to see by following someone else with those 2 characters, typically the one that lags a little further back and see if that fixes it.

Tech Note on G510 Macro Manager:

I find it helps when recording a long set of characters to be SLOW in typing as a 'Key Depress' will not register sometimes and then you have to Right Click and Record Before Here (while selected on the next line below where the Key Depress did not register), press the key again, then select and delete the extra lines you don't need. More hassle than its worth.

  • So, Typing Slow w/ <Record delays between events> checked
  • Verify the Key Press and Depresses
  • Set your delays

I set my delays to 0.025 usually and 0.250 after any <Enter> depress.
