Question: Clicky Ring of the Ancients

Any possible way that Clicky9=Ring of the Ancients|shrinkgroup can check against its actual shrink? im noticing it will only shrink once but not twice. Thanks

We will only shrink once. Is by design.

There is nothing that says the maximum shrunk height of a race model. Sometimes shrinking things more than once actually makes them larger. So we only check against a certain size that seems to fit all models in a way that they get shrunk and not spam shrunk

races like dwarfs requires x2 shrink wheras gnomes are not needed. would like to know in what cases does shrinking more then once causes them to be larger (asking for personal information). on shaman group shrink it shrinks x2 to ensure the shrink is at the lowest lvl height. just making a comment.

Also

Can there be another adclicky option to use shrink clicky for self only instead of just having ony a Shrink group? thanks

I definitely know how shrink works, I do know that you can double shrink. I've mentioned it a few times in the shaman thread and other threads, because shaman pets is one of them that does whacky stuff.

not everything goes to 1.88, I wish it did

We don't intend on keeping a list of all the races and models to prevent that. this is especially problematic for illusioned pets, or charmed monsters

we're only going to try and shrink to get under a certain size.

as i mentioned it is by design.

we're not going to try and shrink unless someone/something is over 2.04

scorpion illusion on a 1.44 shaman doggo goes to 3.12, so we shrink it to 1.56 (max shink for that illusion)
shaman doggo -> brownie 1.04 -> group shrink -> 1.56 (making it larger)
doggo with tiny companion goes to .96
doggo as brownie with tiny companion goes to 1.04

Question: EnduranceGroup

Hi Sic, I believe i have asked this question and if you had replied to it i just cant find it. question that i wanted to ask is fo a Clicky Endurance Group to be added? Currently this is what i found on the info:

ManaGroup - Used when a group member is below 60 mana (currently not adjustable, part of future updates)
ManaSelf - Used when you are below 60 mana (currently not adjustable, part of future updates)
HealthGroup - Used when a group member is below 60 health (currently not adjustable, part of future updates)
HealthSelf - Used when you are below 60 health (currently not adjustable, part of future updates)

the purpose of asking this question is for the Unified Phoenix Horn and/or Unity Horn from the Anniversarry quest which gives you an increase regen.

once again, i apologize if you had answered this which i may have missed it some where. Thanks again

no clicky endurance isn't added

Forgive me, but I couldn't find any answers through a search. This is in regards to using Metamorph items on pets as an addclicky. My mage has the Metamorph Totem: White Werewolf set up as a downtime clicky and it works just fine. However, my Shaman has the Metamorph Wand - Brownie and if I /shm addclicky downtime, it targets the pet and casts correctly and the illusion takes hold on the pet, but keeps casting over and over. I realize these items are slightly different, one is a Totem: and the other is a Wand -

Are there any ways to make the Brownie wand work as an addclicky? I don't want to use the same illusions within my group.

I use the brownie illusion on many of my pets we also don't target the pet.
downtime is correct.

I would ensure you don't have it in an incorrect addclicky /shd shm showclickies

Not sure where I would post this...
Tested with MQ2Eskay, haven't checked the other plugins.

When adding Visage of the Daft Trickster too downtime, it doesn't seem to have an active buff check. It transforms me, (I have the illusion buff) and then just spams it.

Item name is Visage of the Daft Trickster / ID: 66657
Buff name is Illusion: Daft Trickster / ID: 32202

Do you have another illusion clicky in downtime? This will happen to both mounts and illusions.

do you have something else in your keyrings for stats?

No keyrings

I should mention Guise of the Deceiver, and Mask of the Chetari work perfectly in downtime, but when I swap out for Trickster, it just casts over and over.

probably because the item has been broken (and confirmed broken) for 3 years? i don't know, I don't have one so i can't check

unfortunately, there are items in eq that don't work how they say they do, and "under the hood" don't do what they report they do

I got back to working on this today. It was recasting the wand trying to get the familiar up, but I have auto leave checked for familiars, so once I unchecked auto leave it summoned a brownie familiar. I didn't know you could have more than one familiar buff on at the same time, but it "stacked" with my familiar underbulk buff. Then I blocked the brownie familiar buff and checked auto leave again on the familiar key ring window and it seems to be working properly now.

works here as expected

you either:
- are in a "safe zone" like guild hall where we don't use items with charges
- you don't have any buff slots available
- you have the buff already
- you have a buff that doesn't stack with it

thx sic, ill check... i have 3 stacks of that item and i have to manually cast it. but ill double check.

1683562061060.png
appears i have enough buff slots

1683562096444.png
not casting this and i am in a combat zone

1683562164017.png
me casting the item manually
1683562230034.png

no idea why it wont cast even if i moved zones. thx

a picture of buff icons isn't something i can help you with, i cant go through your buffs by the picture to see what mq might possibly be reporting isn't going to stack with it.

that item for addclicky works like all the other items for addclickies, there isn't something special about how we handle that particular item.

as i mentioned before, it is one of these things

you either:
- are in a "safe zone" like guild hall where we don't use items with charges
- you don't have any buff slots available
- you have the buff already
- you have a buff that doesn't stack with it
and i guess just to cover the bases
- you're invis or otherwise not meeting your "downtime" requirements

I don't really have any other answers for you there. it works as expected when i tried it here, so it is going to be one of the things i mentioned above

you should make sure you are not invis and aren't in combat / nothing on xtarget
you could try clicking off your buffs 1 by 1 and see if it goes to apply the item once you remove something mq thinks is in conflict

If I don't have my epic 1.5 for my necro anymore and replaced it with the 2.0 epic, will the 2.0 epic be used instead of the missing 1.5 epic??? If the two are possibly clashing, How do I remove the 1.5 epic if I can't have it attached to my cursor???

I think you'll have to go to the .ini file and remove in manually.

Find your RedGuides folder--- config---> CWTN---> MQ2Necro_ToonName

In the .ini you'll find- [Clickies]
Under this you can adjust / delete the Soulwhisper entry.
Then add Epic 2.0 the normal way.

ive asked this question before and if im correct according to sic your clicky epic needs not to be in your clicky list as the plugin will automatically seach for it. at least this is what i understand and yes as for other classes i dont have the add clicky it just uses it automaticALLY

Imo, you def shouldn't waste either of those in your addclicky.

You can either a: completely ignore the entry because you don't even have the item, or b: delete it from the ini directly

Hey Sic- For future reference does having extra stuff in the .ini slow it down or compromise it in anyway?

not in an impactful way. I personally like to keep mine trim and clean - some folks like to add anything that is clickable without understanding the "use cost" detriment of doing so. like the little rabbit clickies - they're not worth the cast time, it is a dps loss using them --- but as far as the plugin goes - it would just check if you had the item and since you dont, move on to the next one.

if you had hundreds and hundreds of items, sure i could see that being a problem, but otherwise no. i don't think so.

What do you mean @Sic … you’re losing style points…nothing line a 6 box group with 7 or 8 pet clickies going…specially if you box mages…the more pets the better!

Well they changed the of many line, so much easier to reach max DMG

Totem of the stonemight (yes I don't have anything better yet) summons a goblin familiar (with a tiny buff), which is good for barrage of many increasing it's dmg. I added it with /mag addclicky downtime which is awesome functionality..
...but it has a wrinkle, it keeps recasting when this still has like 11hrs 50mins left on the buff which is a big long slow cast that isn't really needed at all.
Can I do anything about this>?

unsure. We'd only cast it if you're missing the buff that it says it gives. if the item doesn't actually give you a buff that it says it gives you, then we'll recast it

In case it's helpful, the buff is called Summon Goblin Dedicant. Same spelling as the staff listing, Summon Goblin Dedicant. Regularly resummons after 8-12mins etc when it still has best part of 12hrs left. It's a buff in the regular buff area. But it doesn't immediately re-summon, it always waits a while, sometimes longer. It's set as /mag addclicky downtime.

I still can't get the brownie pet illusion to cast once and change big chonker bear warder into a brownie, then have ogretard beastlord stop spamming it ;p This seems like the most relevant thread for it, although the metamorph brownie wand specifically was mentioned way back in April, so apologies up front if there's a more recent/better place for this - and also, sorry if this is just a base level annoying question in general heh

the latest I've found on it was when in April, Chubz had said "I got back to working on this today. It was recasting the wand trying to get the familiar up, but I have auto leave checked for familiars, so once I unchecked auto leave it summoned a brownie familiar. I didn't know you could have more than one familiar buff on at the same time, but it "stacked" with my familiar underbulk buff. Then I blocked the brownie familiar buff and checked auto leave again on the familiar key ring window and it seems to be working properly now."

I've tried checking the auto leave box, and unchecking the auto leave box.
I've tried with the clicky in the familiar keyring after adding it, and with it just left in his inventory after adding it.
I do "/bst AddClicky Downtime" with it on cursor, and he gets after spamming it during downtime, making browniebear poof green particle cloud constantly like he's at an EXTRA! BEANS! chili cookoff
I don't think I have any stat familiars, (to attempt to replicate Chubz's troubleshooting) - my characters are only 70-85.

I do "/bst RemoveClicky Downtime" with it on cursor again, and it stops. I would accept that this is out of my wheelhouse and I haven't learned enough yet in this new world to me, if it weren't for seemingly others having it working. I just feel like there's some tiny obvious step I'm somehow missing, and I can't seem to get any big bell dongs of A-HA! in my noggin by looking at the AddClickies documentation or FAQs.

So yeah, if there's some obvious "hey moron did you check XYZ as well?" then hit me with that and I'll go check it, otherwise seriously I'm totally expecting a "it shouldn't do this, dunno why it does, you fucked something up somewhere along the way, good luck with that". I honestly take no offense if the answer is the latter, as I imagine that's the case. Just throwin' my two cents into the well on the off chance there's an answer more akin to the former, that's all. Thanks in advance. ;)

we actually turn on "auto dismiss familiars" automagically when the plugins load, so you should leave that turned off.

could you share a screenie of the actual item? some newer items do different things depending on who/what you're targeting, and unfortunately those we're not going to do something whacky with.

the marketplace brownie illusions are the ones i use on all my toons

Yeah it's the marketplace brownie illusion - and actually you just gave me the idea to reload the plugin. Like turning something off and on, the oldest trick in the book, lemme try that real quick. ;p Gonna add the clicky then unload and reload the plugin, and also make sure the auto leave isn't checked in the keyring since you're automagically bein' far fancier than I ever could. ;-) For a screenshot I'd hafta snap it on the surface pro he's on, I'm a weirdo that actually still just plays one character per PC. Uno momento...

That simultaneously fixed the problem, and made me look more like a fucking idiot. Congrats, me? ;-)

not sure what it was then, unloading and reloading the plugin isn't really anything that should change anything there - BUT there *are* two different brownie illusions - if you have one that does something different if you're targeting yourself or your pet that has potential to cause you problems
