Guide - AddClicky Information

Ok just checking after reading this thread I tied to set up my war to use his clickie buffs. So I did /war addclicky downtime with item on cursor and it added to my ini. I added the 8 item buff clickies and during down time my war will just spam click the top clickie. If I edit the ini to ignore top it will spam click the next one. I am guessing I did something wrong.

In my ini it looks something like:
clicky#=ItemName|downtime
well, what are the clickies?. if you added something that doesn't give the buff it says, like a shrink clicky or added the "shadow of whatever" items that don't give the buff they say they do, then those would not be correct for downtime.

ok ya that would be it the shadow ones. I wanted to auto keep them up for raids.
couple of things about them.

1: they don't actually give you anything. they unlock AAs
2: they don't give the buffs that they say they do, they unlock AAs
3: addlicky is "am i missing the buff that this item says it gives, and does that buff stack with me, if so click it"
3b: since it doesn't give the buff it says it gives, it is going to continue to try and recast it until you have the buff the item says it gives

> Check Here for previous discussion about them <
> or here <

if you were just looking to keep up as a "fluff" buff, you would need to use something like mq2react to click your item

How are you guys handling familiars like the ulthork? I could put it in downtime and block the walrus?

I would need a specific item name to know. But my first question is always "Have you tried it yet"? Because that's 100% the best way to find out what happens.

yes - been handled a long while.

you would downtime clicky it

autoleave in familiar keyring if you want your familiar to auto leave.

Thanks guys. I’ve actually never heard of the familiar ring, so I guess I’ll look into that

it is a built in thing - no purchase or anything needed for the purposes of "auto-dismiss familiar

@Sic is that true? Seems like I had to purchase mine on all my characters to get it to work. I believe it is included if you he bought the EoK expac while it was current, otherwise you have to pay for the key ring

The auto leave feature of the familiar key ring works even if you don't actually own the keyring. It can be 0/0 and you can still set them to auto leave.

@hellfyre damn I wish I would have known that before I bought these useless key rings. Oh well, lesson learned

:( i responded the moment you mentioned it yesterday

@Sic yeah you did, which was awesome. I just didn’t check back before buying. It’s ok though, I had a bunch stock piled.

Hello,

Is there a logical way to add the BL 2.0 epic to clickies? I think the reason it's not working is that its a pet buff and not a player buff so the need (missing buff on player) never exists.

Thanks in advance.

We actually already handle things that give your pet buffs (added in december of 2020), like chest or epic clicky. so it should work, and while i don't have mine, i've spoken to a few that use it in offensive and they report it works.

I would actually *not* use the bl epic as mentioned in the FAQ

from mq2bst FAQ
Q. Do I need to add my epic 1.5/2.0 to addclicky?
A. Bst is one of the classes we don't automatically use your epic 1.5/2.0 - there are a bunch of debates as to whether or not it actually hinders a roll for your pet to proc a stun, and at "current game" the benefit of the 1.5/2.0 is pretty minimal as is, and isn't worth taking up a "roll for a stun proc". But if you did want to use it you would add it to addclicky offensive or burn.

and obligatory "you should consider moving to 'next'" as mq2 has had several issues over the past few weeks with items

tho it appears it is a pet2 spell and we're only checking pet - so i dunno how stuff "worked" for those that i've spoken to, as by the code it should have issues since it isn't checking pet2

If you swap to next i can send you something to test, otherwise you're going to have to wait until rebuilds happen

Is there a way to do a (Mag for example, but would also use for SHM/CLR) /mag addclicky downtime itemID or /mag removeclicky downtime itemID ?
Looking for a way to enable/disable mounting by command, mostly because Muramite Proving Grounds is reporting itself as a mountable zone, but it will not allow mounts.

that particular weird issue is fixed for next update.

but no, you need to pick up the item to add/remove it

Attempting to add Aspect of the Brood, however after holding the item on cursor and using the /Clr AddClicky downtime command, it displays the item as Aspect of the Broodstone (and never fires) when queried with a /Clr ShowClickies
Any chance this can be fixed?

Part of the clicky probably doesn't stack with something else you have, so we avoid using it more than likely. there are some illusion clickies like that

I can tell you from experience that Aspect of the Brood will not fire if you are in too much of a crowded space. Need to have ample Z-axis room.
Some zones (dungeon crawls) will not let you fire it at all.
In addition to all this, you can't shrink this dragon illusion.

Depending on where you are in a zone, if you are in a state of Downtime, it very likely will not fire without the Z-axis room - IF you are able to successfully add it to the downtime list.

I'm curious about this- will test around with it a little. I only have been using this click manually.

BST and SHM can shrink it. I have never had a issue with it firing, however I manual use it. Same as giant ass spider one~

no, our addclicky will not check your zaxis before trying to use it.

is it almost certainly what i said

there are some other items that cause issues like this > here <

I set all mine to Downtime, so when most of the bots are awaiting the Sk to pull things, there clicking theses, and before the SK goes and pulls, to test, click on off, it will re-click, and go about her business...except for Breastplates...those to burns.

Works very well for me.

yeah for sure, likely in this case, it is due to the item itself and what we see as "stackable". so there are a few items like the link above where it wouldn't addclicky use them

which my point was that jester is likely a: not doing anything wrong and b: not confused about how it "should" work just that due to how some items work, and such, we will err on the side of not clicking them

It used to be that a downtime clicky buff wouldn't try to recast if the offending blocking buff was still on. But instead of medding the characters now sit/spam click over and over.

Please post your addclicky questions in the addclicky thread.

we still do, we haven't stopped checking, and spell data hasn't changed for them either.

you should consider using them under different circumstances if you're having issues

i still use both in my clickies for all my toons and i don't have any problems, but i don't use them in downtime.

this is what mq reports

Also i just added mine to downtime to try and replicate

1642865937175.png

here is me using phoenix featuer
1642865995419.png

had to click off phoenix feather to get it to try and cast horn

I even have some fancy stuff for these types of items where we also check that we don't have the aura around us, not just the buff, before trying to cast

are you sure you don't have a bad react or macro or something trying to fire them, because i can't replicate it

also - if you are using legacy, you shouldn't

you also don't have any current cwtn licenses? and don't appear to have any since march and april last year? (and haven't downloaded since then)
1642866189098.png

are you sure you meant to post in the cwtn section for the cwtn plugins? and you're not asking for one of the other automation suites or mq2react or something?

Where would be an appropriate place to use a necromantic dragon bone life tap click if I want to use it as a heal? For KA and class plug? I know there are heal sections in both, but will it know to nuke something with it and not try and click with no valid targets?

...

Healthclicky to use an item when you want it to cast a heal, it is just going to click the item. Not target around.

This is for cwtn plugins not kiss, so this will not work for kiss

If you want alternative you can check mq2react.

I don't suspect that item is going to be the difference between living and dying

First thanks for the great products and the updates you all do as able to make things ever more user friendly.

Regarding the clicky feature, there is an issue with familiars if you have someone or yourself targeted it will not cast the familiar (having this issue currently with the personal hemic source), and just spam it in the output window. As soon as you clear target it casts fine. Is it possible for you to put a clear prior to casting those? Obviously I can just make a hotbutton to clear it if not. Thanks in advance for your consideration.

I'm not familiar with an issue like that, but I'll take a look at it when I have a chance.

Not 100% sure it happens on the COV familiar. But specifically it is an issue on the new TOL familiar.

In fact I’m almost positive it doesn’t happen on the COV familiar because I never ran into this issue until TOL either.

It could only be the TOL, I have not tried it with any others but the TOL familiar to be fair.
