Leveling - AA farming

Well I am on lockjaw and will not be going to Luclin for AA farming for awhile to reduce my ban likelyhood.

I would suggest the Hole undead, howling stones any location with at least 8 mobs in area, and finally the dog handler area in Chardok

They should be void when luclin comes out.

Cheers

AE groups are probably the highest exp you're going to get. But the best spots for it are usually highly contested which quickly turns unfun and unproductive in some cases.

Outside of that charm groups with at least 2-3 pets are your best bet in my experience. Ssra basement undead, HS, seb, and chardok are some of the better places xp wise and most allow for either an enc or necro to charm. Also in the case of chardok a druid can charm as well.

If you're looking to stay away from the crowd especially in the first few weeks of luclin avoid basically every zone with a vt shard in it.

That Griegs End burnout...

It does really depend on the group makeup tho as others have stated. I found it difficult to get more than 1.5% AA per kill on anything that can be killed with any speed.

Seb Juggs and CT 4Corners are the top AFK spots at the moment, depending on your group and gear etc.

I have seen multiple groups at seb juggs right inside the locked door. Are they using kiss to pull? Would they not get stuck on walls? Couldn't figure out how they were pulling.

When going full AFK overnight or something you just stand in the middle of that room passed the locked door. With Kiss set to a smallish pull radius you'll always get the 6 Juggs that spawn/roam in that room plus you can pull the 4 reets. It will keep your team busy all night and it's pretty safe as long as your group can handle it of course.

Edit - And to throw in there, I've never actually went full-afk. I have set up in the middle of that room and done as I've posted but I'm always at the computer doing something else and monitoring what is going on and I've not run into any issues where I had to take manual control or anything like that. My current group of 6 I would rate as "better than average" geared with about ~20AA each only at the moment.

Look into MQ2Nav and build a mesh, you will be blow away :)

Kiss and mq2nav work seamlessly together, though every zone has its own nuances and you may have to play with the meshgenerator to get the results you want.

velks lower dogs is decent, all light blues to 60. I'm getting around .9% to 1.5% AA exp per kill with a group of 60s. decent cash too, scalps, paws, spells and gems all sell to vendors. no one really buys velious quest gems anymore but they still sell to vendor for 25pp+

just realized this thread is for luclin camp spots sorry lol

Ssra Undead (Comm 2 camp) have low HP, are almost all CC'able, and a good mix of l.blues and d.blues (1.21-1.81 AA exp per kill) Some weird pathing going on in there with the mesh generator, so I can't quite get it to work with afk pulling properly except at one spot where I have to turn my z-radius down to 5 to prevent puller from going up the ramp. It's a great spot, though, for active at your keyboard, killing.

For folks with 2 groups, and afk/semi-afking your AA's, are you leaving them in a raid or just staying in one spot forever and swapping dps around to win the race all the time?

I feel like things work best when the toons are grouped together for heals etc, so are people just exping in a small raid?

After I broke 400ish AAs on my main characters, I just raid everyone now. I get about 5-7 AAs a day still, slow and steady good buddy.

Nah, i swap around dps to have an "xp" group.
The difference is like 5-10 aa's vs 30ish, raid vs solo groups.

My 12 box has 3 healers, so I just keep 1 in my main xp group to heal random damage done to the non tank. My cleric always watches my main tank/puller via extended target window, and my 2 other healers watch my cleric/ench/each other via extended target window as well (Kiss allows 2 spots now).

Chardok was a decent afk zone, but I would come back often to find that mq2posse/GTFO had gated me out meaning someone had come close far more often than I liked.

Moved on to less crowded pastures!

I've never tried Sebilis/HOwling stones though, but I feel like they'd be pretty popular afk spots as well.
