So I have a F2P group that I have pretty much AFK levelled to 100 right now, and at the same time created a group of heroic set (SK,Dru,Enc,Shm,Rog,Rgr).

I was thinking of trying to farm the 'into the temple b' mission with these 85's.

How do you think they will fare? Also, can I use KA and still selectively target and safely pull the mobs (in an environment that is entirely KoS) that I want to?

Thanks

I would imagine that with an enchanter any multi-pulls you'd have would be manageable. When I pull the mission as a 105 bard the main rooms usually max out (if you wait on pathing) at about three mobs. If you lull/calm some of the mobs you could probably reduce that reliably to singles and some doubles. The key really is watching the pathing mobs because some of them take really long paths that will bring them into areas you may not necessarily have expected. Liberal use of the map is encouraged :)

As far as whether or not the heroic gear is sufficient to actually tank one of the mobs (single, slowed, etc.), I can't really comment on that.

long as you pay attention you ought to be fine, if the task scales down correctly and your team can handle the mobs inside.

What I tend to do is park in a corner of the room you zone into. Pull the roamer in the south tunnel (to avoid adds later on) and as long as you are on your toes, you can single pull the main room to the north. Make sure you snag the roamers in the east and west tunnels. Once you have cleared that room, move your crew to roughly the middle, giving you some room to work with for pulling the top room. I generally leave my crew there till the end of the mission.

Pulling the top room can bring in 2-3 like Sum1 said. I see you have a ranger, SK, and rogue. Any of those classes can split the mobs well enough, if your enchanter needs the help, or tank has trouble standing up to 3 while enchanter locks em down. I would personally suggest the ranger, with his push-root-forget spells he can split at the getgo, then again at the camp if needed, as well as snare/root park.

You will be looking for two random drops, I generally get them as I clear this room. I clear up the middle, looking for the big green hulking things to pull and kill. Once I get the 2 random drops, you can use IVU to run north to the throne and pick up the groundspawn piece you need. Click on all 3 to activate the Bokon.

Something the write up failed to mention when I was first doing this mission, the Bokon just appear in the room you first start in. Poof, 4 of em. This is why I mentioned setting up at camp 2, to avoid dieing at this stage! heh. Pull the Bokon, more will appear, walking up from the southern tunnel we first clear the roamer out of. Pull the next batch, and once more more spawn. Finish them, loot a final drop. Turn everything in to the Aspect NPC to get your reward.

I know you probably know how to do the mission, passing time waiting for kiddo to get off work, and figured others reading might like a short write up on the mission =)

The bokon often come in pairs and need to be split. To give myself a little extra room I move into the NE or NW corner of the Camp 2 room area on War's map. In the past, when I was less comfortable with the mission, I even cleared all of the northern-most room and moved my group up there. The bonus with moving further in and killing more mobs is you have a better chance for a heroic aug (type 5) to drop. The first few missions I did in that zone I had one, two, or even three drop in a single clear. I got more augs from the wings than from the straight center area, but I'm fairly certain that's just the random number generator getting me rather than anything to do with a higher drop rate in the non-center areas.

Also, be careful in the Camp 2 area if you haven't cleared the pather (not marked on War's map) that comes down into that room from the northern room. It may not agro at the red circle, but if you're any further north it probably will.
