Question - 65+ Leveling (6-box, no PL) help - where to go?

So I've just returned to EQ after years and years away, looking for suggestions on where to level up. I don't really know the zones 70+ very well. I got up to level 65 pretty quickly, found a handful of nice little semi-afk spots to run KA with my start-from-level-one 6 box team.
Where to go now?
- I have no high-level to PL or help out of group.
- I'm 6-boxing (with KA) war clr enc wiz wiz wiz
- I don't have very good gear, though my tanks gear is decent.
- virtually zero plat (I vendor everything i can but bazaar tank gear and spells are expensive lol)
- Zero AA's yet.
- war/clr/enc are on silver accounts, wizx3 are ftp. prefer to leave it that way for now.
- prefer locations where i can play for a bit then go afk for an hour or two or overnight and leave my team churning through shit.

Where I've tried:
Sunderock Springs - too many high-level wandering nameds that rip through my warrior.
Wall of Slaughter - used to love this zone back in the day, can't find a good spot to let my team run afk
Nobles Causeway - too many random objects block line of sight, means hard to leave team afk...they kill one mob then can't "see" a mob that's 100ft away b/c there's a boulder in the way.
Bloodfields - was great but xp has gotten really slow past 65.

I guess my problem is that I don't know the zones 70+ very well (or their acronyms)...I don't find that the zones-by-level list on allakhazams to be all that useful, half the zones don't seem to exist (or are instances or something)
any basic suggestions are appreciated!

If it's at all possible I would try to buy a heroic upgrade for your tank just to make things easier. The gear and AA alone will make sure you don't have problems tanking for awhile at least.

Definitely look at getting http://www.redguides.com/community/showthread.php/35423-Auto-Cleric-1-0

Other than that I would just use the hotzones. I used Wall of Slaughter in the 70s. I just picked a spot in the center of the area south of the wall and didn't have any problems.

yeah if you heroic your tank, take your group to dragon hills he almost cannot die and your whole group will be 80 in a day... then its off to fearrot the dream as an 80 healer should be able to keep an 85 tank alive as you get all your toons caught up to him

Wouldn't House of Thule Lower be better than Feerrott? I've never been able to find a decent camp in Feerrott with all the roamers.

plane of fire? I mean its damn near empty now a days, I should know im PLing a new group of boxes right now lol

The Hole is great at 65 really, it will slow down big time going towards 70 but its good platinum and all.

DSH Farm you should be able to handle, that would be good as well.

You could stay in the Dragonscale Hills until 75 then go to Loping Plains until 80, then go to House of Thule-ish zones.

My fave spots for AFK grinding in that level:

Plane of Fire: Mephits between the castle and lava river. There are tons of wanderers in the open field where you zone-in, but I found the trees and rocks to block too much of the view. So I setup a team on the Right-hand side of the strip of land between the castle wall and the lava river. None of the wanderers from the mainland came across the river (unless you shoot at them) and the mephits are on a pretty quick re-spawn. I loaded-up my warrior with tons of arrows and let him stand in front of the group to get whacked first.

Arcstone: around the dead tree with the undead knights (fallen champion), and the zombies (fallen spirits). You can pull from the hills around the tree with easy line-of-sight. Make sure your team can handle Ravenglass before you camp at the tree. He and the wanderers can make this challenging if you're too low level to grind here.

Dragonscale Hills - There is an area to the right when you enter, beyond the farm, but just before the saddle of land which heads over to the clockworks. This area is home to many snakes/wolves/cats. Witchkin and King Mufasa can spawn here and be a pain when you first start camping here. The pulls are non-stop and you'll level up to where the named are just part of the fodder. Nice loot and you can setup camp along the south wall with easy line of sight.

Loping Planes: Alligators - setup camp at the water's edge. Easy line of sight, simple single pulls (with a bow) and you can grind to your heart's content. Between snakes in Dragonscale Hills and alligators in Loping planes, I got the "I Hate Snakes" conquest achievement while killing literally 1000's of mobs.

Hope this helps!

Something you can do is /claim on each account and get the "Gifts of Legacies Lost". It will come with a few pieces of gear that can help you out.

Lots of good suggestions above, so make sure you click the THANKS xpost_thanks.png button on the left under the post.

If you desire to share your server, I'm sure some of these guys will be happy to donate plat and gear to get you started. The group make up is pretty well ideal, though I keep saying I'd make at least 1 wiz a mage for the sake of COH your group around. This is especially good for later zones like Degmar where there are tons of rooms, bridges to fall off of, etc.

Something to keep in mind from 65 + is that some of the expansions are harder than the others for the same level/xp.

For example, Walls of Slaughter can take you up to 75, and requires not much more than defiant gear. It's wide open in a lot of areas so you should have plenty of pulls. I think that it is also a hotzone, which means a little more xp than other zones. DSH (Dragonscale Hills) is a similar level but the mobs are harder. However there is a quest you can get there for killing bugs, crows, and scarecrows in the farm area.

If you type /ach it will pull up the Achievement window. You can look at all of the expansion packs, then click on the Exploration. All the zones will be listed. You can then search for the zones on Allah to get an idea of the level, difficulty, quests, etc. Seeds of Destruction is one of the hardest xpac for the xp it gives. I've had a lot of fun in the underfoot and house of thule zones and progression. :)
