Question - 2 Questions about a 60 Shaman on TLP

Hey everyone. I am new to KA and MQ2 and I read the guides, but am still lost on two things so far.

The first is that when I first load KA it loads and casts Focus of Spirit, which is fine. The problem is that the buff is > 2 hours and it re-casts it every ~15 mins. The second question is, my character has yet to actually cannibalize during fights and I am not sure why.

Oh, another small issue is it won't cast Spirit of Bih'Li.
