Hello

I am new, just did a fresh install and was able to set up some basic stuff so. Everything seem to work good but one thing... I am using 2 monitor boxing and when I am using a character, I lose the quality of the game everything is low details I am not even able to see the character. Look like a setting mq2 have to put more of the ressource on the character I am using but its something I really don'T appreciate.

Anyone can please assist me ?

Thanks

I can already tell you that it's not mq2. I have a very mediocre system and I can 4 box on 2 screens with the graphics maxed out and not lose quality. I would suggest you look at your PC. See what all is running at the same time as EQ.

Thanks a lot it was the mq2fps

Works great now

Another thing to keep in mind:

Default Windows settings constitute that foreground processes take priority over background processes. This affects the three major components that influence your lag:

1) RAM
2) Graphics
3) CPU

Most modern computers have more than enough RAM so the throttling will not not be noticed much if at all. However, you'll need to check your graphics and CPU settings and set it to treat all instances of EQ equally regardless of fore/background status. Go to a relatively laggy area and look at the same thing with both screens and you'll probably notice which ever screen you have selected appears to be smoother while the other is jumpy--that's the background/foreground priority throttling. Now, if you're running a dual-GPU there's a pretty good chance you won't notice it as much since your system should be smart enough to dedicate 1GPU to each monitor's tasks.
