First attempt at this. Not sure I have the syntax for conditions down yet. Take a look, let me know if you see any obvious errors. I'm still working on the burn section, but wanted some feedback before I put too much more labor into this. Can't test it yet - Waiting for patch.

Also for single target agro, add Harmonious Precision and for AE agro add Harmonious Expanse. Add Slander to DPS and mash that sucker every time it's up.

For defensives, Brace for Impact lasts so long that you might as well put it in buffs. Pain Doesn't Hurt and Dichotomic Shield have fast enough reuse that you can alternate between them and have one of them up 80% of the time. They don't stack with each other very well so it's a waste to hit both. In an ohshit moment either one that is available will stack well with Culminating Stand.

I am not so good at reading those, so whatever gets you this:

1) Unflinching Attention for 18 sec of forced agro on you

2) Fortitude, zero incoming melee damage so dump both agro pets, hit Rage of the Forsaken, Harmonious Precision if it's a single mob, Harmonious Expanse if it's a bunch. Wade into battle here as well if you really want to lock a bunch on you, wade is only really effective if you have 3 or more mobs beating on you (defensive proc). Slander/Blast of Anger/Kluzen's Roar/Burning Shout/Gut Punch should be getting mashed all the time anyways.

3) Culminating Stand + Pain Doesn't Hurt when Fort drops.

4) When stand + PDH drop, Dichotomic Shield + Armor of Tenacious Runes, Hold the Line

5) When Dicho drops use Gladiator's Plate Chestguard of War

6) When that's up hit Brace for Impact if it's not already rolling + Warlord's Tenacity. Hold the Line is either gone or soon will be, Hit Resplendent Glory when it drops. Pain Doesn't Hurt will be back up shortly, hit it when it comes back up. Dicho should be back up by the time PDH drops. PDH/Dicho/Gladiator BP cycle again, with Resolute Defense running. Culminating stand will be back up after the 3rd PDH cycle, probably will not matter outside of a raid tanking situation.

7) Use Flash of Anger (1 tick, parry all incoming attacks from front, 30 sec refresh) when you take a damage spike (50%? less?)

8) Always mash Slander and Shield Break for a small but reliable rune. Always mash Blast of Anger/Kluzen's Roar/Burning Shout/Gut Punch because that's your job :) Keep Harmonious and Rage of the Forsaken up. Save Ageless Enmity for when you have to peel a mob off someone NOW.

commanding voice is not an aura, so I would change the tag to |Me. Burn section looks interesting, too many defensive things firing back to back. You are also missing flash of anger, which helps mitigate dmg, run your bp while not in culminating, only use fort if it is needed since it has a long refresh. I would start with culminating stand then roll into your bp click and pain doesnt hurt then dichotomic shield with resolute all while using flash of anger in between each disc set. flash and fort can be run back to back for 30 sec of no dmg if needed.

their is more then one way to warrior, we have alot of tools that we can use to tank. Most wont stack (they will be running) but only the best of each will take into the damage received portion. make sure PDH isnt running with brace, they both are the same SPA reduction for damage received but brace is better just use PDH while waiting for brace to be back up. I would run resolute instead of armor of runes, the runes proc not so often and wont absorb a full attack from a current named were as resolute will drop the DI of the mob and decrease your incomming damage. One on One tanking run harmonious precision and should not have to worry about agro.

And a comment, I'm glad you have ConditionsOn=2 that means your conditions should go in the same file, right now they are in that second file and kiss won't read them at all.
 
Thanks for the feedback. I'm still learning the basics of MQ & KA. Hell, I'm still learning what it means to be a tank now-a-days. Things were a lot simpler when I left in 2006 or so. I assume it's best to keep editing the original post and it's code rather than putting the updates in the replies?
 
Ok..... ageless emnity, phantom, blast of anger and the other phantom. They dont need to fire at one time. I alternate blast with phantom then on each other pull cause quick reuse timers. Phantom needs to be at the end of an agro ability string because of the way it works ( it takes ur agro then gives it back so its an agro builder/multiplier) basically it will taunt moving it ti the top of the list, then u taunt on n on. It also gives u the agro it built up so the more agro it takes is the more u get. Blast is an agro lock. Fire it first so is ageless enemy on a 3 pull i will use all 3 on each single target starting with phantom on original target. These effectively lock agro for u on a 3 pull. I save the aoe for true aoe moments messed up pull or a disaster.

As far as burns go. A lot of those abilities should be up anyway like blade guardian (move to buffs) pain dont hurt line should alternate with last stand line. Both up at the same time is a waste. Commanding voice and the armor short term buffs should be up constantly. And fortitude is a last chance oh shit button for me. Mark of the mage hunter is very situational at best too. Typically tenacity would only fire at low hp for me or in a combat rotation like on a raid. As in im tanking i put out pain dont hurt, the defense spire (second i think) and the staunch defence line, after it times out culminating stand, whatever rune bp u have and wait for it to time out, then tenacity hold the line resplendant glory maybe darkened runes (ill also click the vet aa rune at this time). When this runs its course the first set would be back up. Rince repeat.

Since you changed it to ConditionsOn=2 you can remove the 2nd conditions file, just copy your full Burn/DPS conditions up to the main file. Once you set it to 2, it no longer reads the extra conditions file. Editing your first post is great since this will wind up in the list of ini's at some point and people will copy/paste the first one they find in the post.


Very nice Burn section. I've been playing around with warrior conditions too and was stumbling on getting a decent Burn with conditons setup.


A couple other things I've been playing with:


1. Running some mitigation on regular pulls (DPS section) as jobarr mentioned. Since wars have a lot of cooldowns and they don't all stack, I was trying to pop at least one mitigation cooldown all the time on trash pulls. This sequence will use Dico Shield, then when that fades use Pain Doesn't Hurt, and continue doing the same with Third Spire -> BP Effect -> War Bastion. It winds up mainly running Dico Shield and Pain, often Third, and rarely the BP/Bastion. The last ones are nice if you get rezzed and the early stuff isn't up yet.

2. Mash Shield Break/Slander at 100 and split them up if you have one buff already. Since these each give a small mitigation buff/song I was trying have KA start them as soon as the mob is in camp and check to see if you had a buff to split them up by a second or two. One is a 40% mit for two swings, the other is 50% mit for two swings. Slander Recourse changes by your Rank of Slander, so maybe you could write a more general condition with Find.
