how to level a shaman from 1-75 with level 105:sk/bl/ranger/wiz? i know i can do a few quests to go from 1-51 but from 51-75 so i can group with my level 105's.....What does the redguide users think? Is there anything i can do QUICK from 51-75?

"Swarm of XX" Line, does a dot on the HOTT of the mob cast on, Rk1 of the 105 version is 600 ds that lasts around 2 mins. The line started at level 85 (UF) and was upgraded every 5 levels from there.

With that crew, I would probably run around with the ranger, wiz, and sk plus whatever alt you want to power level.

Also in lieu of bard, though at a cost of plat can also use Oil of Fennin Ro (http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=2508).

Select your zone of choice and go for it (I use a ranger for my stuff). Use a hot zone a bit higher then your toons levels or alternative high mob density zone. Avoid zones that have mobs that rampage, wild rampage, or cast AE nukes

No, auto-granted AAs can be gotten by anyone while on All-access. So just have to subscribe for a month.

I suggest spending 15 minutes doing Teek 85/90/90 alternate to grab about 190AA before you use auto-grant. Do this at around level 100 when you can actually find some ROF/COTF AAs to spend that 90AA (100 AAs can be kept in reserve).

Heroics are useful for a few things: mount, auto-granted DON and MPG AAs which you do not get with a regular character unless you actually do the quests, not hard but takes a bit of time.

The most important thing heroics get are the heroic augment quests in HOT and Feerrott. The augments are non-prestige and decent for tanks so makes it easy to fill up all slots.

The hard part is still PL 51-75, finding a pleasant zone to PL is not that easy. Some people swear by that POK instance but I do not like it because I get lost in it and waste time.

That's a tough call. Morell's Castle is by far easier to automate, and now that they nerfed gribble EXP, it's probably better to just bot your way up. Unless you actually are playing all the time, then HA's will probably edge out botting (plus you get gear).

Yeah, it's now worth about half of what it used to be. I used to get 20% of a level at ~90 and now I get ~10%.

About AA XP, I was saying you should grab at least 190 AA from doing Teek 85/90/90alt at Level 100 before doing auto-grant. You can do more, but there isn't much point since most AA lines have huge lists of requirements which would get auto-granted.

Example: Let's say you want to max out Combat Stability you'd have to calculate if it is worth spending AA on early CS to get the later CS, while the AA is cheap, or should you do it after autogrant when you already have the most of CS but the AA are harder to come by.

It is about 15AA from Teek 85/90/90alt with auto-grant already claimed vs 166AA with 0 AA.

Then set my 85 ranger in WoS on pullertank with the PL overnight(should be at least 62 by morning). After that I run the PLee/Ranger to PoFire and set them in the second field with pullertank until 75. Not fast, but easy to accomplish during the work week with minimal effort.

I do LC until 62ish and then do Dragonscale Hills with an 85 heroic murdering the zone they get to 75 in a day and then its off to the big leagues...

How many LC runs does it take to get to 62? 3? I never thought of DSH but yeah, taking over the farm could be a better way to do it.

nice thing with LC runs is there is a zone wide NAMED rare drop, I have 3 so far of Strong Captured Cliknar Mount Saddle

it "feels" like 1 run of 4 LCs is about equal to 1 old run of bonechips, but not 100% so if that is true expect the same slower progression as you gain exp, don't forget to get AAs!

i usually get 1-52 first run, 57 second, 61 third and 63 fourth. havent bothered going past that, then spend an evening in wos with a lvl 85 monk pulling to get them to 70.


sadly not had any cliknar mounts drop yet in the few hundred runs ive done.

there is a chance also to get a good 35 ac aug from a rockomancy gnome or such.

So what I tend to do is LC quest to 52 ish with lost legacy xp potion I usually hit 50ish- Than I either have an aoe spell on that toon or pick up oil of fenrin ro from sol b vendor or my mule since I keep a ton. Than with my 105 SK I pull once in PoI and DS aoe style than all of Crypt of Decay one time, by time CoD is done im 65ish or higher. Than I move to WoS and pull zone about 5 times and im 70-72, trick is 70-75 really for me takes the longest since I have no lvl 90's currently.


Takes me 2-3hours to be 70 the way I do it. Can't seem to speed that up at all though. Maybe a wizard with bind port every where might <.<

You don't get the exp from killing the mobs; you get the exp from the task itself. You just need to be in the group to get the kill credits.

Yes, run thru this in about 10mins with zerker, only prob i ever have is if cliknar swarm my healer alth if lucky can do without the healer anyway.

The benefit of berserker is the instakill AA (decap). Makes it really fast if you get lucky with procs.

If your talking LC quests just kill credit like dannuic said but than also 55-75 we are not grouped toon is outside group aoeing while SK has DS up. I can DS kill all way to 75 pretty simply.

use the SK and farm the POK missions running healer merc and get you a high lvl DS from mage . run your XP pots from the Claim , kill everything in 1 pull in the mission . zone back out get a new mission . and reserves your pots running and DS . to get from 1-18 go get a few items for the Charm of lore and turn them in that will get you in range to do missions . Oil of Fennin ro is great to use for this . or just use the shammys AE but the Oils are PBAE hits all the mobs . I would suggest maxing your AA before leaving to go to AC
At 60 go to AC and do same thing .then at 65 hit up WOS SAME THING . mobs do not hit as hard in these zones .

There is a expo in Qinimi Tipt , or one of those expos that Has an NPC in middle of it that when killed Instantly respawns , haven't been there in YEARS , its where I use to go when ND was working , so its been some time ago . can just sit there and kill non stop

BTW the POK instances does not have lock outs because you don't complete this missions . if I use my pots I can start at 8am and by 12 noon im 65 so that's only 4 hours vs your first lockout of 6 to other missions or tasks and 1 pot will last you about 4-5 runs if not more

JUST A fyi(REMINDER) You do not have to be grouped with your high lvls in this mission ONLY TA ( task Add )

You know, if your trying to do this with a group, and you have a high end healer class, you could take your team to a hot zone above your lvl and just kill stuff.

Set healer up with either MQ2Heals (my fav) or AutoCleric, make sure nukes are off/unmemed, put the group (pets included) on Xtarget and go to town.
If you have more high enders available, depeding on classes you could use them to easily buff/DS/Slow/Heal/Snare group/mobs without KSing the lil group.

May not be as fast, but, I'd consider it alot more fun, and toons will work good skills as well.

Am also surprised you can TA a lvl 1 toon for something to grind to 46th or so.

add a bard to the mix, even if its just free to play... to the linchen creep quest to 52 with both... Poinnovation til you can go to crypt of decay, then once you are 65 ish do PoFire til 70-75... a few pulls of the whole/half zone should level you up 5-6 levels a pull....

I just did this strat with 5 new boxes and it took me roughly 3 hours~ playing, most of that was just moving the characters...



just looked at the mailbox and on nov 5th at 5:08 i dinged 50 due to the LC quest... from level 1.. now at 6:53 I dinged 65... the same day, I was moving around quite a bit during that time frame too... but 2 hours to go from 50 to 65 I quit that day after that due to having to go to work, then I started on the 6th at 2:57 and dinged 66... then at 3:24 the same day I dinged 70...


I use Mage DS like crazy and aoe taunt with the SK, and bardsong the whole way up... aoe bardsong is bad ass...

at lvl 1 you dont TA them.
there are 3 Solo kill tasks available to a level one in Lichen Creep. you get all 3 tasks on each lvl 1 toon, group them with your lvl 105 zerker and go kill the mobs on your zerker. the level 1 toons dont get any xp for the kills but they do get credit which fullfills the quests. first quest gets you to about 47 and from then on its about 2 levels per quest all the way up to about 65. but there is a 6hr lockout on all 3.

So the idea with the 105 SK is to have the SK do massive aggro generation with a DS shield up, so that the SK doesn't die, while the toons to be leveled just nuke/kill all the toons beating on the SK?

if you have a bard, his aoe is damn near unresistable.. thats why I suggested leveling a bard even if its FTP you can literally just leave the aoe song playing and not touch anyone else lol but yes, I let the bard aoe after I get all of the mobs aggroed quite nicely and then toss DS up to kill them down.. mage ds can kill just about any mob in PoFire in 10-20 seconds

I feel like such a noob but I have searched and searched and can't figure out what LC quest is that everyone is using to PL. Lichen creep I assume, but I don't know what quest, or even if it is a quest.

The zone is Lichen Creep. The quest giver is Xanathan Foxhear. He is located not to far from the zone line to Corathus Creep. The three quests he gives are not level locked, so a level 1 toon can group or raid with a level 100 toon and get credit for the kills and XP for completing the quests.

Edit: My results are do each quest once and baby toon will get about level 51. The second around of all three quests gets them to about level 58. Then I usually do just one quest for about 24 AA points (max innate run speed) and the other two quests will get them to about level 61. A fourth round of the three quests will get them to about level 65.
