Hi -

I just installed the 9-20 patch, and when I attempt to launch it, any instances of running EQ crash.

Help ?

Remove all your plugin's except MQ2IC, see if the game loads up. If it does add back one plugin at a time till we figure out which plugin is causing the issue.

Same issue here, if I load MQ2 after I have say 6 toons up..it will crash over half the toons. I will start looking at the plugins.. Issue seems to be with ISBoxer, if I have MQ2 loaded and I try to launch a toon or set of toons, nothing runs. However if I removed and unload MQ2 the toons will load just fine. Once in the game when I fire MQ2 back up, it will crash several toons. Trying this same process with only the single plugin set.

Post patch, there are a lot of "crash after server select screen" reports on the main EQ forums also. Maybe win 10 related.

Looks like if you are a ISBoxer user there is a problem launching toon sets if MQ2 is running. I removed all plugins and unless I completely quit MQ2, ISBoxer will no load any character sets, wont launch the game. However, if I stop MQ2, all sets load and it looks like if I load MQ2 at the char select screen, everything seems to stay up and work. Issue is, if I crash and have to reload a char from ISBoxer, it wont launch that char because MQ2 is running. If I stop MQ2, load the crashed toon and then restart it, it crashes the other chars that are running in EQ. This is ugly, anyone seen this issue with ISBoxer and MQ2?

I also did some more testing and it seems that autogroup and autoaccept might be causing some crashes, I had it running and upon login I crashed three toons during grouping and accept, so I logged the toons out and restarted without these plugins and the toons are staying up.

I have Windows 10, no isboxer and ran 18 toons all night without crashes. Using auto accept and trade as well. Heck three pullers with mq2nav.

I have windows 10, no isboxer and I cant get passed the select screen with mq2 running.

Yes, if I do not use ISboxer things seem to be ok, but with ISboxer running MQ2 crashes toons, unless I load it after I get to the char select screen. Going to be tough to isolate so for now I am ok with just following a specific load order, ISBoxer, at char select screen, load MQ2, turn off autogroup, autoaccept. Been solid for a few hours now so who knows..

I also run ISBoxer and am not experiencing any problems related to those above. I am able to load in with Mq2 from the start and am not experiencing any crashing either. Not at home right now but can list my plugins when I get back home. Just wanted to point out that not all ISBoxer users are experiencing the same problems listed above.

Same issue here, crashing if MQ2 running. Tested it with MQ2 running and then running game, and tested it without MQ2, logging into game then opening MQ2 and refresh injection, same issue again.
I'm a windows 10 user. Not using IsBoxer

i clicked off everything except autoaccept, autologin, eqbc, eqmelee, move utilitys, and no wineq2 no nothing.
eq stand alone runs fine. no graphic lag
load mq and im lagged out.
this started on this patch
i sure cannot figure this out lol

I have also been lagging since the new patch. Choppy/lagging when running more than 6, zoning or reloading UI.

I tried reinstalling, updating MQ2.

Patching EQ.

Deleting and reloading all of my plugins ect.

Nothing has fixed the choppy/lag, I have no idea what is causing this.

I tried to use MQ2 again today the first time since my last post in this thread, (sept 20) and I still get the samething happening to me. I load my toon to character screen, start MQ2 then enter world I crash to desktop. No changes made on my side, all happened on patch. I hunted for similar problems on website but didn't find any.
