• Hail, we're RedGuides. We want you to play six (yes, 6!) EverQuest characters at once. We have scripts and a friendly community to help, please join our playstyle and say hello! 👋
  • We've added LLM sections to our Terms & Rules and Resource Rules, for everyone's sanity & in-game safety.

    a. Do not replace your voice with an LLM. This goes for your posts and your scripts. Drafting and editing with a tool is fine, but don't take you out of what you share.
    b. Do not replace your EQ character's voice with an LLM. We don't want scripts that speak over /ooc, /shout or other public channels. This has been an unwritten rule that's kept casino scripts off the site for decades, but we're now compelled to make it clear: keep automated communication private.

    Why Does RG Review Scripts?
Nearly every LLM-written Lua script we see is making your character do impossible things, and rarely in a way that's beneficial to you. We've seen heavy server hammering, /target over impossible distances when /nav spawn would passively accomplish the same thing, a spawn search that fires 20+ times per second, and other pointless actions that are likely annoying GMs.

You are welcome to use LLMs as a tool to structure, draft, and edit your work, but please read critically before hitting /lua run

Trade / Skill Tradeskill.mac 2.02

Fixed endless loop when the first recipe was unable to be made due to missing items, I put a thing in a dumb place - now it's less dumb
Fixed up a few flow issues which resulted in skipping recipes if skilling up/running out of items etc.

Also removed a bit of the spam

otherwise remains the same as original release adding trophy support through ini

Working on a shopping list pulled from recipe files , feels a bit beyond my current mental capacity/current ability to concentrate but it's something
Long time coming, had a few other life hiccups from my previous attempt at getting back into game... sat down today and I think I finished what I was doing back in December

Made it so inis are created in mq2\macro\tradeskill folder -- as per Jande request to me back in Dec

Skill mods/trophies will get swapped in via defining them in the ini and at the end of the macro will swap back in the item from range slot that was present when macro started

Made other small changes to code, mostly InvSlot to ItemSlot fixes - I was originally using a garbage mix up of them because I was too lazy to do the Math.Calc stuff

Removed a bunch of /echo information, removed a cleanup counter which would end the macro after too many cleanups since most cleanup issues were because of InvSlot issues

Ini's are essentially the same, just have added a ****Mod=NULL for all skills
same usage as previous, make sure to not have stacks of materials in a top level inventory slot to avoid it grabbing stacks... i should fix this in rewrite
