• Hail, we're RedGuides. We want you to play six (yes, 6!) EverQuest characters at once. We have scripts and a friendly community to help, please join our playstyle and say hello! 👋
  • We've added LLM sections to our Terms & Rules and Resource Rules, for everyone's sanity & in-game safety.

    a. Do not replace your voice with an LLM. This goes for your posts and your scripts. Drafting and editing with a tool is fine, but don't take you out of what you share.
    b. Do not replace your EQ character's voice with an LLM. We don't want scripts that speak over /ooc, /shout or other public channels. This has been an unwritten rule that's kept casino scripts off the site for decades, but we're now compelled to make it clear: keep automated communication private.

    Why Does RG Review Scripts?
Nearly every LLM-written Lua script we see is making your character do impossible things, and rarely in a way that's beneficial to you. We've seen heavy server hammering, /target over impossible distances when /nav spawn would passively accomplish the same thing, a spawn search that fires 20+ times per second, and other pointless actions that are likely annoying GMs.

You are welcome to use LLMs as a tool to structure, draft, and edit your work, but please read critically before hitting /lua run

Utility Parcel.mac 2023-11-13

Added in a check for server to be Mischief or Firiona Via. Probably misspelled Firiona and I didn't make sure it was right.
So it won't check for no drop if you're on one of those servers. Assuming I spelled it right.

Added the ability to send spell scrolls. Just senditem scroll or scrolls

Not sure who would need it other than the person who asked for the feature. But it's there now.
Honestly no really understandable reason it was hanging. But I took the opportunity to make a couple of changes.

When you start the macro it will now tell you that the macro is on, as well as suggest how to use it.
It will no longer retype the name for every item it sends. If the name is the one you intend to send it to, it will just skip clearing and retyping it.
Will now use shift when sending items so it sends the stack. Suggest by BlankStare
Will tell you "Item was sent" when the macro triggers the event to identify that it was sent.
As a reminder, this has an item ignore list built into the code. You should make sure you copy your ignores list to replace the one in the macro. My current list is included in here but certainly may not be what you want to be ignored or may lack items you do want to be ignored.
Update NPC message informing you an item has been sent so it will recognize an item is done sending and send the next one.
