I quit playing after Wife passed away on May 11th and was curious how things are going here?
I will be back into EQ eventually, but wife was a bit of a hoarder and I been busy cleaning out the house for past few months. Lots of trips to Goodwill and other full loads each week for trash pickup...
Yeah She was a gamer herself and used to play EQ long ago.
Yep it was not a surprise we knew what was coming. I had Hospice bring her home from the Acute Care room so she could pass away on the couch with her 3 cats and small dog. She only lasted 1 1/2 days at home, but at least she was here...
I am having a moral dilemma since wife passed away on May 11th 2023 from Cancer Complications
So what do you all think? Should I keep playing a game or no. I could of spent more time with her in her last days, but I was playing the game more then being with her so I am feeling guilty.
So when I use control F for navigation and control left click the zone I want to go to and if there is water on the way my toon nose dives into the water and swims to the bottom almost all the time.
Is there a way to stop this and yes I have Levitate on and still does it.
I know this is a old thread but this happened to me yesterday and it was driving me nuts, but I solved mine after a full day of trying to figure it out and this thread and others helped me solve mine.
I searched and searched the 2 houses I had and the Guild Hall Estate looking everywhere. Yes...
Oh I am always targeting a Named clean across the map just so I get the line to follow to it if it's not camped.
So is this what you mean or maybe a special hidden mob that is normally not on the map?
thanks, but I thought there was a key combo that would just do that once you typed it in and got the first target on map and then would go through them all. This way I will have to always change the name I am looking for.
But I will try that :)
Isn't there a way once you type in /tar orc and it highlights that first Orc on the map to cycle through to the next Orc target and then the next etc... no matter where on the map they are. And it gives you the target line to them.
I looked for answer and found nothing and I could of swore...
oh interesting, thanks for the tip, never thought of that :)
And yes I gave 5 toons with pets so I have to have them either suspended or have them guard away from the toons cause it's annoying.
Isn't there a way when your moving the map and then you want to zoom in on an area without the map changing your focus point and then you have to drag it all over trying to find the spot again?
I just want the map to stay centered on exactly the spot I am trying to look at without going all...
