So Everquest 2 is going F2P across all servers, "coming soon" according to their website. I'm going to guess that it will be shortly after the launch of the latest expansion (Nov 30) and looks to have the same restriction set as in EQ2 Extended. Not sure if all of your existing toons will stay...

CoH was decent for a bit, but it got repetitive, especially with the mission maps. I haven't really played it since people can create their own mission maps though.

Yeah, SL had some good people, but wound up going back to school during the "normal" hours of the day, so could no longer raid with them...(this was during the PoP days to give you an idea how long ago it's been).

Extended breaks haha...most of us take them, God knows I have...several times. Used to be on Trib for awhile (worked graveyard here, so joined an Aussie guild on Trib since that was my play time)...don't think I have any toons over there anymore though.

I would have said try Champions Online, but it got pushed back to September :(

Just picked this game up on PS3. Scariest game I've played since the first Resident Evil...hell, might even be scarier than that. Anyone else played this one yet?

UPDATE: As of 2/5/09, shards are now labeled as "Heirloom", which means they're still NO TRADE, but can be transfered between toons through your shared bank. So now you can run easy shards on multiple toons on the same account (as long as they're 80) and transfer them all to the same toon.

Just a basic guide to getting shards the easy way. Most people charge around 5pp for this, but if you do the zone yourself, you can easily do this trick with your alts. You will need a cleared TSO instance for starters. Basically you get a mission and zone into the cleared zone and get whatever...
