Using the current version, now I'm getting:
'We stopped too far away from [item]' ie 'We stopped too far away from Umbral Plains Scrying Bowl'.
My toons run to the clicky, in this case they're standing right on top of it but not clicking it.

Had the same idea, figured I'd just write a quick macro that would loop over: do I have a target, if so what is targets faction, if faction fits some condition then run a /${Me.Class.ShortName} Ignore . Unfortunately I'm not seeing anything for faction in the mq2 spawn class that I could use for...
Would it be possible to update pulling to check faction of a mob? Assigning a 0-7 value to each of faction that way I could do something like:
/${Me.Class.ShortName} targetfaction 5
and it would only target mobs greater than or equal to 5 (apprehensive)?
0 Ally
1 Warmly
2 Kindly
3 Amiable
4...
I'm disabling it anyways ran into another problem. by creating a system service it's holding files open when the patcher runs so if you try to apply an update you get a warning that 'Everquest still has files open' when its actually the eqbcs server running. Guess I'll kill the service and go...
FWIW this works for me:

1) Open Command Prompt as Administrator
2) run: sc.exe create SERVICENAME start= auto binpath= "PATH_TO_eqbcs.exe", ie:
sc.exe create MQ2EQBCS start= auto binpath=...
If a combine fails with 'You lack the knowledge to work with this material', because I haven't scribed a specific book or done a quest. Is it possible to auto-add that recipe to the block list then move on to another recipe? I believe I've scribed everything but I'm sure I've missed some older...
