Are pallies that bad? Are they Defensively better than SK?

Returning to the game, I am going to run a Paladin & Beastlord. Any tips or tricks on setting up optimal dps/would be appreciated. My Paladin seems to do almost no DPS he has full Endowed armor/wpns. Has roughly 10k AC buffed.

I'd also suggest FV. Server has a good population, Tradeable loot. I recently came back and from TLP also and loving the live progression.

I found an advanced option that max's out Backgroup FPS, these seemed to help a bit.

Does anyone have optimization recommendations, Sometimes I get frame issues Boxing, Some of the Forts in FM & guild hall. Note PC specs: Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-10850K CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz 32.0 GB RAM Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070

Might add one or two more, we shall see. I want to keep room for friends and guildmates.
