From eyeballing, the StickDist variable seems like the one that might be adjusting that behavior. You could try reducing it to 10 to match the UW distance, or even smaller. Big "user beware" editing something in the Do Not Edit This block, though.

I enjoy watching PirateSoftware stream AoC on twitch. He has good opinions on games, and good insight as a former blizzard employee. I like the concept that the game has player-driven conflict over competing for limited in-game resources. Very similar to EVE online.
