Just curious Having not played since October and thinking of coming back. In years past a class or two always seem to rise to the top of the parse. For example, few years ago it was necros. More recently it was monks. So with the new expansion has anything been showing really impressive...

Not sure about this, monks are the kings parse atm on live. Zerkers have burst but hurt over the duration of a fight compared to monks or rogues, but especially monks these days

Ive heard and seen both numbers 4500 or 5k for melee, and agree for casters or healers no cap

As far as monk dps the past two expansions at end game, not a single class can touch monks. Rogues are the closest, but still monks dps is elite at this point and in a class all its own.

Get your shaman back in the fight for the epic clicky. That combined with bard epic is one of the best dps/synergies in the game still, if not the best.

Having both and Enc and Bard is overlapping allot of abilities. Far more effective having just one or the other, then having the other spot going to a dps toon

Even allot of raid warriors are stacking dex these days. Some guilds are moving more towards having all dps groups regardless if your a tank class or not. If they have the bards. The 4k diminishing returns is in question imo. A couple of my dps toons had over 5k hdex, when sorting out...

Rule I kinda abide by If your killing mobs in approximately 60-90 seconds, don't waste time trying to slow.

Bard and shaman, with the right adps support and gear a warrior can easily keep pace with most dps classes. Some higher end guilds have done away with "tank" groups and have started giving tanks adps support groups.
