Yeah, I am not saying to use instant camp, that's a ban now. I am saying the normal /q EQ command will instacamp your character most of the time, and if you immediately re-enter the world, it works pretty flawlessly.

Saw this on the EQ forums, so can't really take credit, and I suspect it's fairly well known: Apparently /q is bugged so that you instantly exit the game, rather than hanging out and getting killed by your train. Train to your camp spot, /q, log back in without worrying about all the friends...

I got a rare ear in the Thul HA when I was farming the named for my box crew, so they do drop.

Chaining HA's.

It's a random drop in Naggy's Lair, there's no trick to it. I got one to drop on my 5th kill; 400 later haven't seen a second.

If he's a heroic toon, here is a list of augs you can get him: Non-Prestige AC augs Yeah, you lose a lot of AC relative to an all-access SK, but you could probably still do it with some work. I don't think you can do the heroic quests unless the toon is flagged, and without that it's slim...

This x1000. Having worked in software development, whoever designed it should have known better than to A) over-engineer something that could be much simpler, and B) deliver the entire feature in a single release. They should have delivered the core functionality, then incrementally improved...

Now that it's mostly working properly I like it for quests - makes it way easier to distribute items when you're doing the "collect xx of yy" partisan tasks.

FYI - Level Two thread titles are visible to non-subscribers, but thread content is not (I checked).
