I know this is an old topic, but... Have you tried calling PluginCommand() with the proper parameters?

/Doevents does take parameters, yes. /doevents <your_event_name_here> I'm not sure if it can take more than one parameter or not, though. P.S. I'm not dead.

The best advice I can give you is the following: WinEQ2 http://www.lavishsoft.com/wineq2/ There's WinEQ2 lite which will get the job done, but if you can afford it, I suggest springing for a Lavish subscription.
