Still having problems with MQ2Allzone. I load and do /lockazone and it will CTD and I end up outside of the zone. If I try to zone again i also get CTD until i remove it from the ini file. This use to work up till last patch. Can someone take a look at it?

without specific plugins whats good about just having mq2 .. seems like its just a basis for getting plugins added to it which are pretty expensive atm... is there anything good about just having mq2 besides tracking and gating ability?

Probably the wrong thread to ask in Debonez. Everyone has their own uses of it, but I mainly use it for knowing where mobs are in a zone and the ability to target them and find out if they can see invis. Very useful in a nasty zone. I also use it for all the heads up info it can provide. The radar function is useful while solo'ing so I know when I have adds. The data on the HUD is useful to know what debuffs/dots are on me and how to cure them.

Well, since the tracking and the gating don't come with the base MQ, I get the feeling that you don't know a whole lot about MQ.

The base MQ on its own doesn't do a whole lot. (Referring to the zip distro'd by MQ2.com). That said, MQ2 + macros + plugins, all properly configured, can give a single person the ability to run an entire raid of 40 toons or so.

HUD is a nice feature, MQ2Cast is f'ing awesome for anyone who has a mana pool, MQ2Melee is key for the melee classes, etc...let's not forget active hacks. Ghosting, sumcorpse, speed hacks, warping, zoning, even GKing and MBing for the more heavy hitters.

If it's not worth it to you, don't pay for it. But it's more than worth it for me...by far. I would not play EQ without MQ, and I know that I'm not the only one.

Melle= Basiclly it fights/sticks to mobs for you. It will will bash kick ect without you doing it. I use it so i dont "forget to do stuff" Like pet hold after every mob :) Its a basic tool most mqers use. great for boxers too.

whats the command to fight a mob using mq2melee ... i have that plugin but dont know how to activate it.

Once you've got everything set up, the plugin switched on (different from loading it), then the /killthis command will do the trick. You could also "/keypress melee".

Is there a working MQ2Faerune plugin? Or has the author asked it not to be posted? I am back playing EQ and my Monk is Human, which means he is "Blind as a bat with broken sonar", LOL. Any help would be appreciated. Keep up the great work here at RG!!

Its part of the current compile and mine is running just fine ...... are you getting an error loading it or is it not coming up under your songs or it it not doing the function.......

Got it. Deleted my existing MQ folder and redownloaded and installed new version, now everything works. Must have had an old .dll

Try this DLL -- I changed the "/open" command in the plugin to "/copen" a while back for similar reasons -- I wanted to be able to do an /open that didn't cause me to warp...!

OK, just call me a post whore here so i am no longer a 'shy guy'. :D

I was messing around with the source code, using VS 2005, and in the conversion process generated a few errors because of missing directories. I was wondering if it was deliberate or an oversight. not complaining, was just wondering here :)

The missing directories/items were:

MQ2Debuff\MQ2Debuff.vcproj
MQ2ExchangeItem\MQ2ExchangeItem.vcproj
MQ2Hudmove\MQ2Hudmove.vcproj

Haveing a problem i tried useing trek and rwarp. i /warp wp mining and it say it doesnt exist?? but i open the piggyzone file and its in there. has something changed? Or any ideas how to fix

Alright, at the risk of looking foolish, just what is the "monk bug" I keep hearin about? I don't have nor ever played a monk so keep that in mind.

Ok waypoints is still giveing me trouble. im thinking that if it is not all 4 locs it says bad waypoint? you can /warp loc 111.11 222.22 3333.33 and it works for warp. but i think (just guessing) that when you zone you have to have 111.11 222.22 333.33 444.

Is this true cause that could be problem?

You can't zone to a specific loc with this version of piggyzone. You can set the waypoint, then "/zone lavastorm waypointname".

Question: I cant seem to figure out why mobs dont show up up my map anymore.
Or I used to beable to rightl click a mob or person to target them in map so i could warp.
This isnt working. I've loaded alot of plug ins and no mobs show up on my map.
Is there a plugin im missing this time? lol.
I cant remember, its been a while since all this crap was updated / played eq, lol.

Is there a way to kill the auto-loot on the MQ2Rez plug? Sometimes you gotta run or FD as soon as you pop back and that auto-loot sucks for those times. Got me killed actually.

When you die, but before you are rezzed: "/rez loot off".

You'll need to turn it on again after you are done.

Yeah, do a /rez loot off or something similar (am at work here so don't have it open). If you do a /rez i think it lists all of the options you can set them at the command line.

Does this zone you in then warp you to the WP? Is that how the plugin works? The old piggyzone would take a 3 numeric wp. (like 111 222 333) the new piggy i think only takes 4 (111 222 333 444) If im not mistaken the 4th cord is which way you are facing.

SoS -- maybe. I was under the impression that it was only a waypoint thing. I know that MQ2Cobalt allowed you to zone to a specific location and heading.

If you can't get the INI, then you're doing something wrong. Are you hitting the command in correctly?

Ok i narrowed it down to frontiermtns. None of the waypoints working. says bad waypoint?? im at a loss

There are two [frontiermtns] entries in the code you posted. The first only contains a default= entry, the second all your task-related waypoints. I'm fairly confident the code uses the first section tag it finds, thus causing the bad waypoint message.

Solution:
Delete the first [frontiermtns] section and its entry. If you need the default entry, copy it to the other [frontiermtns] section before deleting.

Tried using this today and didn't work, so did anyone ever fix /open(/copen) or just busted for now?
