this ui is the ui i use.

Hey sic, thank you for the response. I get that this is the UI you use. Love it btw. However, when I watch all your CWTN or Mission complete videos, your spell gems are different. I kind of like them, I was hoping it was possible to get those some how.

This UI doesn't handle position/location, so I have no idea what to tell you

Find a long cast spell, cast it, and find it. Typically it is stacked in the upper left with other windows and the MQ window overlays on top.

far top right just barely visible corner under the buff window YAY!!!

I downloaded and have enjoyed it very much. It fits my personal aesthetic, but it also frees up some screen space over default.

However, I wanted a different target ring, so I found one I wanted to use on EQinterface. Specifically, Elanthian Ring of Power updated for ToL.

The installation instructions say to copy the files and paste them directly into your UI folder (Zliz in this case) - which I did - and it doesn't work. The UI is unaffected but the target ring is unchanged.

Can someone point me to a fix?

Much appreciated and thanks again for the UI of minimalist Nirvana.

Using this UI on Teek, i know there will be some obvious issues right out the gate but for the most part it has run smoothly and i love the total look.

I wanted to make hotkeys for some of my clicky items and found that each time i try to click on the item and hold to drag it to a hotkey, it crashes my client.

The fix here is to uncheck using the new UI in your settings, apparently not specific to this particular UI mod.

Not a UI issue as far as I know. There's nothing "special" about it.

Apparently unchecking the new UI button was the answer... Did a near exact copy of your UI setup last night while camping something and then the game crashed and I lost it all, brain was pretty exploded by that point!

do you run in window mode and a 1920x1080 windows? Cause I can't pick that resolution under full screen. And also I can't move my target window just get resize options.
imo you shouldn't run eq in fullscreen mode - eq has issues going fullscreen and then un-fullscreen (like tabbing) etc

but no, these days I use viewport with 1920x1080 setting on an ultrawidescreen

Sic would u suggest view port for me?. I use a flat screen 40inch TV with a HDMI plug from GPU to TV.

Hey my dude, I aint Sic, but he would probably ask you what your resolution is!

In general just know that EQ doesn't truly support any other resolutions than the oldschool 4:3; it just draws in 4:3 and chops off whatever portion it needs from the top and bottom to fit on your screen. This causes an issue where your vertical field of view suffers quite a bit, and you may feel like you are "zoomed in" more than you should be (and this may not even be noticeable if you've never played on 4:3. This can be overcome with MQ2Camera as well).

It gets even weirder from my understanding, ultrawide monitors will actually start to cause oddities like misaligned particles.

Some of us viewport, adding black bars on the left and right, go get back closer to this 4:3. Adding your UI stuff there covers up those black portions anyways.

Some of us don't care and just have some top and bottom cut off.

Some of us have hugely wide monitors and just use EQ on a portion of those monitors to avoid the particle issues or for convenience.

Some of us still play on 2004 Sony Trinitrons that weigh 70lbs.

Amongst dudes that multibox, IS boxer, etc, you are going to have 8000 answers, I'm thinking.

You can see what some other dudes here have to say about viewports:

The /viewport command has some help built in game, but reading about it here at EQ Interface was how I learned it way back in the day.
